These are just some random thoughts and I shall try my best to be coherent.
I have mentioned once earlier that for me, the quality of dancing and quality of dancers is just not as good this season as it was in the previous others. Amongst the girls, I am yet to find someone as versatile and talented as Shakti or Alisha. Others like Bhavna, Kruti were excellent too. This year I thought Sneha G was the best but not in the same league as the one I mentioned earlier, IMHO.
In boys, there is a huge gap between the talent one saw in DID 1/2 and now. Salman, Mayuresh, Jay, Siddhesh, Dharmesh etc were phenomenal and on their day, anyone could beat anyone. In current season, none of them match up to that level. Sanam is good in his style, Abeek is definitely someone who will go miles from here, Pradeep has raw talent and the most energy anyone has ever had in any of the 3 seasons but not polished. Raghav is phenomenal in his style but needs to improve so much in others.
Also, I hate Aerial acts and props in dancing. The show has taken a turn to showcase a "performance" rather than a "dance". The visual has overtaken the content.
The judging by the three mentors this season has become ridiculous, IMHO. Remo can not look beyond his team, a quality only Geeta displayed in the first two seasons. Geeta has become more appreciative. I think because Remo mentioned "I won't ask you to dance like that" last season and brought her back to the ground. Terrence has been giving Chummeshwari far too often!
Last, I think a few things should be mandated for the contestants. A complete split is a must have. If one can not split one can not dance. The somersaults and such should be clean and complete. A lot of people get away by doing half baked attempts. The attire should be proper. Doing Salsa without shoes is much safer than with one! But in no competition can one dance without proper attire.
