I am tried of watching this season of DID. There is really nothing new and exciting in the dances and the dance masters haven't really shown anything great. The first season was much better but I think that it was mainly due to the fact that the dancers were better. DID seems to want to copy So You Think You Can Dance, but they are no where close. DID needs to bring in other choreographers to work with the dancers. I don't even understand how Geeta or even Remo are on this show as "Dance Masters". Terrance is probably the only one who is slightly good at choreographing a piece that is appealing to not only watch but also to perform. However, I am tired of watching his contemporary pieces every week. This show has run its course and I hope that we aren't going to be subjected to another boring season of DID or if they plan to bring a season 3, then at least bring in some fresh choreographers from the industry. DID has lost it's appeal.

I agree with you that DID-1 was waaayyy better than DID-2..

But, I totally do not agree with you on this point that DID wants to copy SYTYCD.. if they had an intention of "copying" things would be A LOTTTT different..

First of, we wouldn't have Mithun Daa..

Secondly.. we wouldn't have just 3 masters.. who do the choreography and judging as well.. 🤔 There are choreographers in India too.. surely not as much as the SYTYCD crew have appointed for.. In SYTYCD there are like 'round 30 choreographers... 🤔 !!!

And finally.. we would have had just a single host.. like there is Cat Deeley.. 😳

Coming to the way things would have been going on..

There would be 10 couples(we have 18 dancers.. each 6 divided in teams) .. And the choice of doing a particular routine would be by the "chits" ..(I hope I'm clear..) 😕 .. And these couples would perform for a day.. and for the next episode., only the bottom 6 couples would be dancing for their lives.. Wherein, here the contestants do solos no matter how many votes they secure... and do couple dances for the next day.. 🥱

Here we have teams.. 6 each at the beginning.. 🥱

These bottom six couples would have been judged and eliminated by the judges on the panel... not by the votes.. And the couples would be permanent unless their partners would be eliminated ... Here, everything has got to do with the team.. and the partners are shuffled..

Lastly, there would be much drama annd biased behaviour that's flourishing these days.. 😆

And trust me, if.. just IF DID was a copy.. or wants o copy SYTYCD.. the competition would have been much much better !!

And I would like to say a point to you.. this is INDIA my dear, comparing INDIA to USA or Canada.. actually does not make sense.. The resources, availability, economic conditions etc are verryyy verryyyy poor compared to USA and Canada.. Infact, I am SOOO damn proud of this country that inspite of such issues here, there is a lot of talent flourishing !!!

Most of the dancers if you see are from middle-class families.. or are right from lower-middle class.. and they DO NOT get proper training here since childhood.. and training classes, academies, schools for dance and all are very few in India if you compare with USA etc. And besides.. dancers in SYTYCD usually get their training since their childhood(exceptions like Joshua Allen).. 'cos every school has got the facility !!!

Please do not compare India to other highly developed countries.. sure India has to develop a lot.. but it's doing a great great job.. inspite of many economical conditions and poor facilties(in comparision to such countries) ..

I dunno.. but I really do not like it when India's compared with any other country !!

I would have liked Vaibhavi Merchant.. yet I am no one to talk 'bout Geeta's replacement, 'cos it's no joke choreographing ! 🤓

But.. she is weaker than the three.. 😕

n agree with you, choreography prob is very hard, n she does set up soe good performances.... n to the OP, if you dont like the show then dont watch, i agree we may not like some things on the show but many of us here on the forum do love the show😊

I love the show and thats why watch it. Those who do not like it can always stop watching😳 Just a suggestion. But no need to say that the Masters Suck!

I am truly hooked to this show. You know if someone doesn't like this show, they have the POWER OF THE REMOTE in their hands. And with the Remote, they can do two things, 1. flip the channel OR just press the POWER button, go to sleep and please stop WHINING.

Is it that difficult?

That is a little harsh, but i agree the choreography in season 1 was more interesting. Terrance and Geeta have done some noteworthy acts this season, but Remo does not seem to have his heart in it this time. Last season he did many great acts with Khushboo, Salman and Prince.

I agree with you! All these masters work very hard. Can you imagine trying to choreograph a few new dances week after week, with new theme, choreo, style, and all that? It is so tough! I am a choreographer myself and I am no where near the level of these masters because it is SOO difficult to even choreograph one dance! 😊

Vaibhavi Merchant is awesome! But you know, there is a difference when you choreograph a few dances, as oppose to choreographing a few every single week!

I think all these masters deserve a Grand Salute.

And please, like Angel-likeDevil said, no more comparison between India and USA. I live in USA and i still don't feel right when different countries are compared as such.

One of the reason why i love DID so much is because of the desiness..The moments it becomes too westernized for example like Jhalak Dikhla Ja, I will lose all interest..One of the reasons why DID 1 was more appealing is everything was new, every lift was new, every stunt was new...However saying that this year they really have taken it a step farther..The dancers are better collectively, the masters, especially Geeta has shown a lot of improvement..that maybe owing to her assistants but her acts are better this year..
Terence continues to outshine everyone else as far as choreography is concerned..All in all I am loving DID 2 and I would love to see DID 3..😃

There's no need to say that the masters suck...they wouldnt be there if they sucked!
Please refrain from saying things like that..
