Judging

In the Olympics, things such as ice skating and ice dancing are judged by a panel of unbiased professionals. This is what DID needs if it wants to be a true competition. Mentors should not be allowed to comment on the performances of their own contestants. Mihunda should be there to provide entertainment and not judge. Finally, there is a lot of regional and ethnic bias in India and public voting is completely ridiculous in such a country and doesn't always reflect who is the best dancer.

There should be a panel of 3 or 5 judges who are professional dancers and technically trained who should assign points and then each week the contestant with the lowest points should be eliminated. This is how professional competitions are judged. How ridiculous would it be if the whole wold started using SMS to pick Olympic medal winners. It is just wrong.

Exactly!! I also think the judge panel should be like the SYTYCD show!!

thats how the show gets money😆 by SMS...i think its fine the way it is...or the Janta chooses the bottom 3...n the grandmaster chooses one to be safe...

I think its business for DID producers and not that they want to nurture true talent. They would not replace SMS voting

I think it's also for TRP's...
If I remember correctly, Indian Idol 1 first brought the 'SMS voting' concept in India..& It was a huge hit. The people who were voting were glued to the show to watch the contestants they are voting for-whom they chose as their favourites, if those contestants won, they saw it as 'their' victory..thus more viewers for the show! :P
But, nevertheless, true talent can only be judged & justified by unbiased qualified judges only, IMO ^_^
