Terrence is not shy about speaking up so if Remo and Geeta were wrong I don't think Terrence would keep quiet and be unfair to shakti by staying quiet.

Dont twist my words! Both Terence and Shakti have heard the same before from Geeta and Remo, and at that time Terence tried to explain and they didnt accept it as they wanted to believe they were right and Shakti was only doing Contemporary. Why should Terence waste his time explaining again when he knows what the outcome is?! And this time it was Contemporary so he agreed with them as he is always a just person. And btw, Terence is not like Geeta or Remo and usually keeps quiet when his contestants are criticized and wouldnt speak up to be over-protective of his dancers and say things like - "oh, this is her shaily, and she has done a very good job, and I am very happy for her and she has made me proud" blah blah... He always takes comments as constructive criticism and agrees to work on them; he shows his respect to the other masters and doesnt do any drama. And his dancers know him well, and wouldnt be upset that he stayed quiet.

That was true last season. This season Terrence has behaved exactly the same as the other judges. just this week, outside of Kruti all of the other performers in his toli were not exceptional and even then Terrence gave all three a standing ovation. He had excuses for all three of them like Kuwar couldn't do much with the wheel because the stage was too small but he knew that beforehand so why an excuse? so i think Terrence is behaving EXACTLY like the othe judges this season. He is over protective of his students and overly critical of others. As are Remo and Geeta BTW

Terence gives a standing ovation when the contestant does full justice to his work and meets his expectations - same level or beyond... I have seen him not giving standing ovations all the time this season.. And he gives more standing ovation to other team dancers too, and more than the other two masters. And it's also showing his appreciation and encouragement for his dancers, and I dont think it matters to anyone. Even Remo does that often, and Geeta hardly does.. I dont think people would vote based on the number of standing ovations for a dance... He didnt give excuses for Shakti and Kruti, and only told Jack that he liked his act and it was entertaining. He only reasoned for Amar, that's because Geeta said he could have done more with that wheel - how can he when the wheel covers the stage in a small roll itself, so he said that Amar practiced with three wheels but when it came on the stage, he could only use one..

All these comments are edited, so we dont have the full picture. The channel likes to show the parts they feel will help their TRPs and bring in more SMS money..

BTW, what you think about Terence is your opinion and I have no problems. I know no matter what I say, you are not going to change from your views, and it's a mutual thing. 😃

Anyway if I had to choose then I would choose the most underrated contestant on this show-Kruti. She has shown many different dances and has done really well in almost all of them I think. Parvez is definitely one of the most versatile dancers on this show as well as Kunwar.
I still think that when it comes to versatility, no-one really comes close to Jai, Mayuresh, Alisha and Vrushali. :(

Very True This years DID is no where close to DID1 .........
contestants this year are good but not versatile like last year...last year they danced different kind of dance...they scored high and low but they tried other style...

Kruti is the underdog of this season...though I feel she is gonna be eliminated soon...thats the trend of DID...

I too Miss Jai, Mayuresh, Alisha and Vrushali from DID 1....

Yup its not Shakti's fault either.....that is one problem in these purely contempory trained dancers- They r trained to perfection & carry out that perticular style only. Its not that shakti has not tried different styles..she did urban hip hop freestyle...but everything she does looks pretty much the same. Same again with Shashank hes trained in contemporary so much hes not able to carry out hip hop & such other styles.

I agree with the summary and really feel Parvez is the best among the guys and Kruti in the girls (based on whats shown so far). Shakti is very graceful and we would have probably placed her at the top, if she would have done atleast something a bit different from her genre! For some reason Terrence is playing safe..

I love those three words, because I have the exact opposing views on Terence! I love his attitude this season, because we all so what happened last season when he went in the opposite direction. Heck, it should have been only a TKT final if you ask me, or perhaps including Siddesh because of his brilliant dancing a par. But otherwise, Jai, Mayuresh, Vrushali and Alisha should all have been in, and it had to be one of them, especially Jai or Alisha winning the title. It should have hurt pretty bad last season when he didn't win it despite deserving it, but I, until now, never saw him showing it. He's never over-protective of his students in my opinion, protective? Yes definitely when he needs to be, because that's the way it should always have been! But do I see him pointing out mistakes when Kunwar does them? Yes I do! Do I see him refusing to listen anything for his best student like Geeta does for Dharmesh? No I don't! Do I see him praising and ignoring a contestants mistakes like Remo does for Shashank? Never, I definitely don't!
