One brilliant performance can push someone up there, like Jai was, he continued to get votes thats why he reached the finals. Salman gave consistent performance since begining and votes supported him. He didnt do PnL but other he was perhaps the first contestant to do stunts in DID and people do love stunts irrespective of gender.
ChupkeChupke>Thats a good point , votes of Terence fans wld have got divided betn Alisha and Jai.

You also raised valid point, actually Salman pushed other to the limit. Salman started doing stunt so everybody started copied him, even girls tried stunt. Otherwise this show would also be like other show where shake your hip and you are the best dancer.

salman was in danger zone just once in thw whole series so it should not be a shocking news for anyone that salman won...and in DID if you people have noticed the range of # of votes have always been wide...same thing happened in the finale too so jai was fourth..see sometimes sunita, prince, siddesh, alisha were the highest vote receivers and next week the same person was in danger zone so it is not a big deal...my opinion

I don't think Salman winning was rigged in anyway, because I knew inside Salman was going to win, considering the obvious hype and publicity surrounding him. Yet Jai shouldn't have come 4th. He had talent, blatant talent like Mayuresh, but still didn't come close to the suneri topi. I think after Bhavna was elminated, the show stopped being a talent show, and started being more of a popularity show. Which is what happens to all shows in the end, isn't it?

Yeah but in semis when Salman came 2nd , there was hardly any vote difference between him and Jai, moreover him coming 2nd provided a boost for his fans to vote more than anything to bring him to 1st position.
He came in bottom only once and got highest votes or 2nd highest most number of times.
Jai was beginning to be safe only after 6 contestants were left, otherwise he was always in danger. He got highest no of votes only once.
Siddesh and Alisha sometimes got highest no of votes, sometimes in bottom, so they were kind of swinging from top to bottom, so they are in the middle.
Siddhesh came in bottom after the LnP controversy but after that he was among the top vote getters. He started coming in bottom 3 only after a few contestants were left but he was never in bottom 2 if you recall except after the LnP controversy.
Alsha came in bottom 2 in the semis but before that she got highest no of votes twice.
Nothing shocking in these results actually.
Moreover Prince going out in the semis , those votes most probably went in favour of Salman, so he has won by a huge margin.

I guess your Prince theory does make sense. My brother, a Prince fan, voted for Salman after Prince got out, because they were from the same team. So there's a lot of favoritism in the way too, to which I'll agree with you - no surprise.

Let me just say you are my hero. After all of these conspiracy theories, it's nice to hear some reasoning.

Btw, I think a lot of people were voting Toli-wise, so the votes were split between Alisha and Jai.

agree... the voting pattern for DID had a lot of flucatuations and gave us many surprises. like mayuresh being eliminated after giving the blind dance and "dholi taro." or salman coming in 2nd after giving not his best (dance with shree and patriotism dance)...no way did i expect jai to be 4th. i never got it

but we have to accept salman as the winner... nothing can be done now
