a lot of people believe that chau dance was more stunt than dance. i understand its not something most people are used to seeing, but it is A LEGIT DANCE FORM. he did the chau dance and even added fire to heighten the affect. the fact that he performed a whole dance sequence in THAT outfit is not only commendable, but praiseworthy because he took on a challenge and, to an extent, was successful in carrying out the CHOREOGRAPHY GIVEN TO HIM. i commed him for the chau dance more than i commend prince for his performances. albiet brilliant, he does the same style every week. to try something as daring as the chau dance--and not only the fire part, but the whole sequence--shouldn't just be dismissed and be labeled as a stunt, expecially since this IS an ACTUAL dance form.
his dance with the rope was amazing. ive watched that video many times and the fluidity with which he moved was really good. the fact that he did such a stunt completely overshadowed the rest of his performance--which was really, really good. ya, sure, it wasn't completely perfect in every possible sense, but i highly doubt any of the contestants' performances are perfect to the T. his performance was very well done, and he kept his expressiveness until the very end. i highly doubt that a performance like that can be considered just average.
i liked his freestyle/hip hop. his bboying was great and he showed us something new. just because terence said he put grace into hip hop does not make it a bad performance.
among today's performances, mayuresh was clearly the best. i thought jai was alright, though his act was really cool. but that's not the say salman didn't dance well, because he DID. he was expressive and did the steps with clarity. the choreography might have not been that great, but he still the best he could with what he was given. in fact, he even MADE it look good, which is the mark of a talented performer.
all in all, salman is called a package for a reason. yes, he has the looks and personality, but thats not just it. it really annoys me when people say that salman fans are all just idiots fidaaa over his hot body. um, no. this guy is a REALLY talented dancer, and he has shown us a variety of styles. blaming him for the choreography he recieves is hardly an objective thing to do. judging his performances much more strictly due to the hype that surrounds his image isn't either.
jai,mayuresh, and salman, for me, are mostly at the same level, though one can argue mayuresh and jai have shown us really good dances due to their excellent (and ADORABLE😳) choreographer. what makes him such a "star" is the whole package-looks,personality,dancing-but im afraid that zee is taking this wayyy too far and its actually hurting his image.

Although our POV differ but I respect your balanced opinion. One suggestion put your point in few sentences. You can not convince other with whole story if he/she does not want to be convinced with few sentences. You like saari, lanhga, etc. that is why you are saying she was looking great in those outfit. But to me a person is always same irrespective of dresses. I see her dance, that was brilliant today.

btw, your comment above that a person looks the same in every costume is so not right. Costumes should be according to the body type. khushboo's costume today exposed her unshapely legs. Had she worn something different with proper shoes to camouflage her big feet, her movements may not have looked so vulgar.
