Australia were blown away by an aggressive New Zealand in their first game, which has hit their Net Run Rate (NRR) hard, as Andrew Fidel Fernando mentions in the preview, they need a big win to bounce back. They will be uplifted by Mitchell Marsh being available to bowl but are aware of Wanindu Hasaranga's threat despite pace-friendly conditions.

It’s a balanced wicket at Perth and we can expect an equal contest between bat and ball here. The team batting first exhibits an excellent record of winning matches and hence whoever wins the toss will look to walk on the same path.
