People on this forum jump to label PCB as illogical and messed up. I would agree on this statement on any occasion but NOT the current situation of whether there should be a IND vs PAK series.

If people bothered to check their facts, then they would know that BCCI is the one who's wishy washy on this subject and is flip flopping on their decision. They are the ones who cannot make up their mind.

There have been Pak vs Ind series already in India in 2007 and 2012 and there was already an agreement to have a current series in UAE. Now BCCI has offered to have the series in India. They are the ones who changed their decisions multiple times giving a plethora of excuses.

Aside from the tension between the two countries, all other reasons given are stupid and illogical.

For the bolded statement: Perhaps you should have tried to understand their decision and looked at facts before calling them foolish. The series in December was originally agreed upon by BCCI to be played in UAE while the T20WC is in India. The security issue was for Pak playing T20WC in India but NOT for the Dec. series because everyone had already agreed that it would be in UAE. Do you see the difference?

You call Pakistan's logic of boycotting T20 WC as foolish but you have no problem jumping on the safety bandwagon when there's ever a mention of cricket being played in Pakistan.

I completely recognize the safety issue in Pak. But do you recognize the safety issue in India recently? Was there no backlash against PCB leaders recently in India? Was there no crowd eruption and outrage recently? Of course I'm not comparing the two countries and the safety issues are much much greater in Pak. I'm open minded enough to see the obvious.

As for your statement..."I would rather not play like a country like Pak" reeks of blind illogical animosity and resentment. Your team is not playing against an entire country, they are just playing with other players who are like the rest of world's cricket players. Perhaps if people separated the sport of cricket with politics, may be the spirit of game would be stronger.

At the end of the day, I agree with you that I'd rather not have a bilateral series but because of different reasons than you.

Okay pcb chairman is v much after Pak vs India series

But we don't understand why r they denying the series

And I don't understand why should it be held in India... Such series are always played on neutral venues
And now for a series which was already decided we have to play on norms of other country when it was a Pak home series. It ought to be held in UAE. 😕


Okay I understand that because of political issues this series wasn't possible but cam anyone give me logic behind a Pak home series held in India?/

what should we say when security officers couldnt even handle a mob outraged against a paki chairperson... when ICC sent a Paki umpire back was there no security reason
