I've enabled multiple votes in this poll, since one might select different glovemen for tests, 50/50 & 20/20. With that in mind, make your selections. You can vote up to 3 times - one for each format of the game. Please don't go beyond that.

Also mention in your posts whether batting is your criteria for your selection, or whether you'd select someone for his keeping alone.

I'd pick

Samsun for tests
Uthappa for 50/50s
Saha for 20/20s

You have not enabled multiple votes... Anyway, Saha for now since he is good with the bat and his keeping is fairly clean. Karthik and Samson look like good prospects in the future. Uthappa isn't bad either.

Currently we are stuck with Saha. 🥱

I was not impressed at all with him AUS specially against Spinners. I dont know how he will manage in Home tests on dustbowls. Batting was it was just OK.

We Can try Ojha but he is 30+ so he will go in few years too.

Uthappa only for T20s/ODIs. But some how he does not translate his Domestic form into internationals at all. 🥱

The real successor will be Sanju Samson. Easily the best batsman of the Lot. He needs to improve his keeping more and he will be drafted permanently into the Squad. The only reason he is not being played is he is not a kepper upto the mark. IMO i will play him after WC in BD as a main keeper if MSD is not available and as a pure batsman and backup in place of Rayudu if MSD is playing. Will give him good chance to experience internatioinal standard and prepare according to that.

And please no DK, Tired of him being given changes and failing miserably. I still remember ASIA cup missed stumping against PAK and SL that cost us the match. 😡

We had a LLLOOONNNGGG Gap between Nayan Mongia and MSD, I hope it does not happen again at all.

Dinesh Kartik if its only for keeping.

If its gonna be an alrounder, then none from the above options.Every individual you mentioned have their own weakness against spin/ pacers/ stumping/ catching/ runouts.
