Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone promote 'Chennai Express' on Comedy Nights with Kapil
Mumbai, July 2 (TruthDive): Chennai Express team – Shahrukh Khan along with his lead actress Deepika Padukone and the director of the film Rohit Shetty were on the sets of the comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote their film, Chennai Express.
The latest trend of promoting films is through popular television shows. The show Comedy Nights, which started only two weeks back, has already gained great response from the viewers. The Ghanchakkar team – Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan and the Lootera team – Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha were seen previously in this show to do the promotions for their film.
The show Comedy Nights is chosen by many actors for promotion as the quality of the show is pleasing. All the actors connected to the show, be it Kapil Sharma, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti, Sunil Grover, Naseem Vicky, Soni Singh or Upasana Singh are doing a great job in entertaining the viewers. So, the show has become very popular in a short period.
This week, Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express team was there in the sets of Comedy Nights to promote their film. Deepika gave an entrance to the show using a scooter and received a loud applause while entering in. She looked stunning in a long skirt teamed up with an embellished blouse.
Shahrukh Khan and Deepika danced with the Ali Asgar's character and she fainted after performing with the team. That day's show Comedy Nights had a theme, which had a very Chennai feel to it.
Shahrukh Khan also behaved as a true gentleman with the un-wed sister of Kapil and did a dance performance with her. The actor sipped on coconut water in the sets and also shook legs with kids on the show. One of his fans who was among the audience got the chance to interact with him.
This episode will be aired next weekend (July 6-7th weekend).
