That dashed bond is actually the bond between molecules.

See how the website wants hydrogen bond to be. May be you have to put both H and N inside some dashed squares? Or may be some other way?

For the resonance problem, more than one resonance structures are possible. I am not completely sure what the question means by major contributor. But I think the following is the correct answer (this is a valid resonance strucuture):

Hi I need Chemistry help. It's prob a simple problem, but I can't get the answer, lol.

When 60 grams of Iron (111) chloride hydrate is heated, 24 grams of water are given off. What is the chemical formula for the hydrate?

Formula of the hydrate is of the form FeCl3.xH2O

Therefore moles of the hydrate = moles of FeCl3

Molecular weight of FeCl3 = 162 g/mol

Molecular weight of water = 18 g/mol

In 60 grams of the hydrate:-

Amount of water of crystallization = 24 g

Amount of FeCl3 = 60-24 = 36 grams

Moles of FeCl3 = 36/162 = 2/9 = moles of the hydrate

Moles of H2O = 24/18 = 1.5

2/9 mol hydrate contains 1.5 mol water of crystallization

Therefore 1 mol hydrate contains 1.5/(2/9) = 1.5*9/2 = 7 (rounded to nearest integer) mol water of crystallization

Formula of the hydrate: FeCl3.7H2O

Ans: FeCl3.7H2O

It has been more than 9 years since the attack on the word trade center towers.

I know a student in Singapore. He needs materials on

1. How has the world changed since then as a result of the attack. Give changes from different perspectives, such as political, social, economic.

2. What measures have the countries around the world taken to prevent such an incident from happening again.

I gave him some materials based on what I read in media and what I could find from Internet. But the problem is that Internet contains various different points of view - one often contradicting another. Also, I am not sure how authentic some website is.

I need web pages, which answer the above questions in easy to understand way. Also, the web sites should be of reputed organisations.

Also, is anybody aware what is meant by "IBL" question?

Hi, I need chemistry help.

The task is:
Investigate the industrial reversible reaction known as the Haber process.
Evaluate how the different factors affect the rates of this reaction.

Or: Use primary data to evaluate how different factors affect Reaction rates for a given Industrial reaction.

I can't find any information for this ^^... if you can, please help!
