I just had this querry ....was watching CID today....it was an epi in which Daya dies....did he leave the show or sumthing??

No, that's a recent episode. It aired on August 14 (it was an Independence Day special episode). He appears in the next episode - don't worry. He loses his pulse, but miraculously gets it back. He stays in the hospital for a couple of days, and then starts working on the new case.
