Scene 1
The episode begins at night outside one Ten Star Hospital. A car being driven by a girl crashes just outside the porch and severely injures her. An elderly couple in another car come up and angrily demands her to come out, saying she nearly killed them as well. The girl argues with them and tries dialing a number, but goes unconscious. A nurse comes out and is shocked to see her condition. She asks ward boys to take her inside for treatment. They manage to get her out of the car and take her into the hospital, relentlessly followed by the couple who say they want to get her imprisoned. The nurse tells them off and orders them to stay outside. The girl Nalini's friend arrives and starts arguing with the couple. The doctor arrives, scolds all of them and tells them to be quiet.
Scene 2
We see a young man lying on bed in hospital with his mother asleep nearby. A shadowy figure looms over him with a pair of scissors, and he watches helplessly as he's stabbed.
Scene 3
Our CID team comprising of ACP sir, Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir, Nikhil, Pankaj, Shreya and Jayawanti are seem examining the man's corpse, who's been stabbed 25-30 times. Abhijeet sir says he seems to have been killed 5-6 hours ago, around 2-3 AM, going by the body temperature. Shreya finds the bloodstained scissors in the dustbin. The doctor informs that the victim was one Rakesh, a wealthy businessman's son who had been admitted due to food poisoning and due to be discharged that day. He remembers last seeing him alive at around 11 PM. The cops meet Rakesh's traumatized mother who explains that around 2 AM she sent her daughter and Rakesh's fiancee Lavanya home and slept near Rakesh, and she heard nothing until she woke up in the morning and discovered his corpse. ACP sir is shocked that she heard no sounds of a struggle at all, and wonders if the killer drugged her. He asks the doctor and nurse if anything unusual happened there the previous day.
The nurse mentions about the accident we saw happening in Scene 1, and that the old couple took the girl to the Shastri Nagar police station after she was discharged around 2-3 AM - the time the murder took place. Abhijeet sir asks Nikhil to find out if any drunk driving case was registered at that police station last night. ACP sir asks the doctor for a list of all the people present inside the hospital from 10:30 PM to the morning. Nikhil is told that there was no such case registered there, and ACP sir and Abhijeet sir wonder if the entire accident was staged as part of the murder plan. The nurse says that the girl's injuries were real, and Abhijeet sir suggests it was an occupational hazard of her task. ACP sir asks Freddy sir to help the nurse get the girl sketched, and decides to examine the CCTV footage for her car number and also check the room she was treated in.
Scene 4
The cops check the girl's room and find nothing of value. ACP sir wonders if the girl was the killer, then how she managed to get to Rakesh's room on the second floor from her own room, here on the first floor. He notices a parapet leading from the window to a pipe going up to the second floor on the other side, and construes that this could be a possible route. On his orders, Nikhil climbs the pipe and finds a bloodstain, piece of skin and marks of slipping on its top portion. From there, with the team's help he is able to climb into the window of Rakesh's room. Jayawanti wonders how the killer managed to get in when both the rooms' windows were closed at the time. Shreya adds that according to reports, Rakesh's mother was not drugged either. ACP sir says that someone from the hospital staff was helping the killer.
Scene 5
Daya sir, Pankaj, Nikhil and Shreya are seen in a chawl area looking for the "old" couple whom they saw unclearly in the CCTV footage. After enquiring locals, they find the man playing Ravana at a local play there and following some comic scenes of him with Nikhil and Pankaj, manage to capture him and his wife. Both of them confess that the girl had offered to get them roles in a reality show if they helped her stage the accident. She always had her head cloaked and during the accident it was splattered with blood, so they can't recognize her. The man says she had suggested she might hire them later, and Daya sir wonders if she has another murder in mind. The cops arrest them.
Scene 6
We see a couple arguing near a swimming pool while their friend Manan enjoys inside. When they leave, an unidentified girl approaches Manan and he's shocked to see her. Hearing his screams, the couple returns and finds him dead in the pool.
Scene 7
The team is seen examining the crime spot. Salunkhe sir tells Daya sir that Manan was first pushed and then strangled with a rope from the front, going by the wound pattern. The couple says that they heard Manan arguing with a girl and expressing surprise that she's alive. The watchman says that nobody had entered the premises except the couple and Manan. Pankaj finds nothing inside the pool. The cops wonder how this girl (assuming it's the same one in both cases) managed to commit two murders without anybody noticing. Nikhil shows the couple Rakesh's photo; they recognize him as Manan's good college friend and say that Manan was disturbed after his murder, so they brought him to the pool to relax. Concluding that the murderer must be the same girl, the cops search the area and Shreya finds a manhole nearby - the possible entry cum exit route of the killer.
Scene 8
In the bureau, Daya sir informs ACP sir that 7 years ago, Manan and Rakesh had met at an engineering college and that same year, a boy and girl died in an accident which took place in a car racing competition both of them had participated and won. The photo of the girl who died, Naina, matches with the sketch of the girl who had been admitted in the hospital. Daya sir says that both the old couple and the nurse have identified her, but adds that according to the postmortem reports, Naina had been confirmed dead in the accident. ACP sir construes that this is some other girl who is impersonating Naina. Daya sir says Naina was an orphan, and there was a third friend of Manan and Rakesh who had participated in the contest - Vikrant. ACP sir says that he could be the next target.
Scene 9
Nikhil and Shreya trace the path from the bungalow pool to the manhole opening outside, and are told by a paan waala that he saw Naina taking one Bablu's taxi at around 10:30 AM. Shreya confirms that this was an hour after Manan's murder, combined with the time needed to take the manhole route. She asks for Bablu's number.
Scene 10
Bablu leads our duo, Purvi di, Nikhil, Shreya and Pankaj to the area where he had dropped Naina. Abhijeet sir asks the mobile company for a list of all the mobiles which arrived in that area from Malad, so they can track her, while the others enquire locals about her. Abhijeet sir finds out that among four suspects was one girl's mobile which was active during both murder spots during the murders as well. They arrive at the building where this mobile is traced, and the watchman says he saw her going up to the third floor room 302 a while ago. They enter the room and Purvi di finds Vikrant murdered there. Abhijeet sir construes the girl couldn't have escaped so soon and since they saw nobody while coming upstairs, they go onto the terrace and find her on the railing.
She threatens to kill herself and the cops tell her that they know she's not Naina. She takes off her prosthetic mask and is revealed to be Rakesh's fiancee Lavanya. She reveals that Rakesh and his two friends had murdered her brother and his lover Naina by sabotaging their car brakes, and moments before being killed, her brother had called her and informed her of this. She waited seven years until planning murder. She also reveals that a hospital member had helped her by opening the rooms' windows from inside and drugging Rakesh's mother with sedatives which dissipate and become undetectable in 4 hours. She refuses to divulge his name and jumps off the roof, but Abhijeet sir jumps after her and catches her in midair. Daya sir throws a rope to help him and with the team's help, both of them are lowered to safety. Abhijeet sir angrily demands Lavanya to reveal her accomplice.
Scene 11
The accomplice is revealed to be none other than the hospital doctor. Our team catches him as he's about to enter his car, and takes him away.
