The episode begins with a couple, Nandini and Dinesh, heading into The Lodge (what an innovative name ๐ค) and ask for a room. The guy at the reception listens to the conversation as the 2 talk about running away to get married. Nandini pays the man 10,000 rupees and takes a pair of keys and leaves. The guy phones someone.
A little while later, Nandini's father arrives with 2 bodyguards and starts searching each room for Nandini and Dinesh. Dinesh hears the noise and checks. Then Nandini checks. Both get scared. In one locked room, they find a girl hanging. (I was about to check why you would check a room locked from the outside, but now I guess it's good they did. And why didn't the lodge receptionist just call police for assistance?)
Abhijeet, Daya, Sachin, Dr. Salunkhe, Jaywanti, Nikhil, and Shreya are in the room checking the girl and the room. Shreya doesn't find any wounds on her legs or arms. Dr. Salunkhe believes she was choked. The duo question the manager who says that a man was staying alone in the room and says he'll get the ID. The duo talk to the couple and Nandini's father. Sachin comes there and says that they didn't find anything. The manager brings the ID, a Mukesh Kumar. He agrees that there was a door in the back and the lock is broken. Jaywanti says that the address and phone number are both fake. Daya comments the name could be fake as well then. Sachin says that no one saw anyone coming and going from the back door. (Oh please! At least do the timing well. It took Sachin something like 10 seconds to check. And same with Jaywanti. Like 20 seconds!) Abhijeet asks if anyone else came to meet Mukesh. The manager agrees that a girl used to come.
Daya, Freddy, Nikhil, and Shreya are on the road to question people about Mukesh. (Where did Freddy suddenly appear from?) They question the paanwala who recognizes CID. He agrees that he saw Mukesh who was drunk, in a suit, and got into a taxi and left. Daya tells Freddy to check the details with Easy Fare Cab.
In the bureau, they recognize the girl as Sunita, a small-time thief. Daya wonders how Sunita is connected to Mukesh. Shreya points to the sketch and asks what is happening if someone else came to meet Mukesh, then how Sunita died. Nikhil brings the taxi details and says that 20 taxis went by the location around that time and only 1, Sudhir, isn't picking up his phone. Shreya checks the criminal database and finds him. (Really? Just with the first name and you find only 1 Sudhir?!! Sudhir is a common name. There should have been more!) Shreya explains that Sudhir was a thief as well. Daya says it's time to find Sudhir.
Abhijeet, Sachin, and Jaywanti are in Sudhir's taxi and ask for him to stop by CID bureau before going to the airport. They question him and he agrees to taking Mukesh as a fare and says that Mukesh died in the taxi and so he hid the body because he was scared he would get trapped. He leads them to the body. They find blood in the nose and Abhijeet deduces that he was poisoned. Sachin finds a wallet in which they find another address.
Abhijeet, Sachin, and Jaywanti reach the address. (Haw...they had the same team follow up on the lead? ๐ฒ) Mukesh's wife is informed of his death. (Overacting. OTT. ๐ค And watch her be involved in all this somehow. ๐ค) Abhijeet asks if Mukesh had any enemies or fought with anyone. Ratan, the shop assistant, says that Mukesh had a fight with a girl, but it's not Sunita or the sketch one either. He says both had a fight, the girl left, and then Mukesh left, and never returned. He agrees to get a sketch made. (Yeah see the girl once and you can recognize the person again.)
In the bureau, Daya, Freddy, Nikhil, Shreya, Mayur, and Ishita are checking out the sketches. Daya deduces that both sketches are of the same woman. Dr. Salunkhe comes in and after a brief teasing session, he says that Mayur was killed with a drug that hasn't come in the market yet and is very dangerous. (Err...how did Dr. Salunkhe find out so many details?) Daya tells everyone to get the informers on track.
Daya, Freddy, Nikhil, and Shreya meet an informer who tells them about the drug and where it can be found. (A nice scene. I love how they met the informer in a casual meeting on the side of the road to buy some screens.)
Abhijeet, Sachin, Jaywanti, and Vansh find out that the sketch is Jessica's and she died 6 months ago at a hospital. (Err...how did they reach that hospital?) Abhijeet asks for the details and the doctor provides a file. Sachin wonders who it is who met Mukesh. (A twin maybe? Or maybe Jessica never died. Or maybe someone got plastic surgery.) Abhijeet asks to see the body. (They still have the body? Usually the bodies are burned if they aren't claimed.) Abhijeet thinks the wardboy, Pillu, is stalling. The body isn't there. Pillu says a man bought the body. The man is Mukesh. Vansh takes Pillu away. Abhijeet wonders who met Mukesh if Jessica is dead. Abhijeet suggests a look-alike. Abhijeet says to get all the details of Jessica from the embassy.
At Knight Club, a girl is asking for drugs from Hitesh. Shreya arrives there in disguise. She then meets Hitesh as Mona and asks for the new drug. Hitesh shows a small packet and Shreya calls someone for the money. Daya, Nikhil, and Freddy enter. As Nikhil and Freddy stay back, Daya comes forward pretending to be the bodyguard and then introduces himself as CID. (I loved Daya's expressions in this scene.) Hitesh recognizes Jessica as the one who bought the drugs from him.
Shreya tells Daya that they've found the girl in the sketch in the bureau. Shreya shows an article that shows that Jessica died in London 5 months ago with drugs in her body and that the other girl is Sandra, Jessica's twin sister. (Err what?!! Jessica died in India. That's why her body was in a morgue in India. Now suddenly she died in London. I'm confused. ๐ต) Daya deduces that Mukesh is involved in drug smuggling. Shreya agrees and says that Sandra killed Mukesh now and will kill the other person who was in the morgue with Mukesh. Daya says we'll track based on the phone.
Sandra is threatening someone. (Oh wow! It's been a while since I saw Tzafetta. I was missing her after Mahakumbh. At least the CVs got someone right in the casting.)
Shreya is tracking someone as Daya questions her for the location. Freddy thinks that maybe Sandra has held the man hostage. Nikhil wonders if Sandra has already killed him. The team reach the location. Freddy doesn't see anyone inside. Inside they find Sandra, hit on the head and she names Mukesh before fainting.
Daya, Abhijeet, Sachin, Shreya, Jaywanti, and Nikhil reach Mukesh's house. Jaywanti reminds Mukesh's wife that she worked with Mukesh to smuggle drugs. (Ah ha! I was right!) She accepts it after getting slapped. In flashback, Mukesh and his wife are having an argument about the smuggling and Jessica dying. They then take Jessica's body and fill her body with drugs. Sachin asks why they used Jessica's body. The wife says that Jessica used to work with them, but then refused to work with them anymore. Abhijeet says that they killed Jessica, but then they used her body to finish the consignment. Daya says but then Sandra came here and started threatening them and sent Sunita after them as well. Mukesh hid in the lodge, but Sunita reached there as well. Mukesh killed Sunita, but by then Sunita had already mixed the drugs in Mukesh's juice, which killed him. Then the wife went ahead and attempted to kill Sandra. The final dialogue is delivered.
