Scene 1
The episode begins at a lonely bungalow at night. We see a large hairy beast being held captive in a holding cell there, and roaring and snarling as it tries to free itself. Three men guarding it get annoyed by the sounds and say if it doesn't calm down even after getting food, they'll tranquilize it. One of them gets food for them. Eventually the sounds die down and the remaining two men feel the beast is finally asleep. There's suddenly a crashing sound and they rush to find the cell door and chains broken apart. Outside, the beast ambushes and kills both of them. When the guy who had gone to get food returns, he meets the same fate.
Scene 2
We see a group of 4 youths in a clearing, who have been sent by a news channel to capture footage of the mysterious beast. They're scared for obvious reasons, but take solace that they needn't approach it thanks to their specialized cameras. The beast is seen stalking them, and eventually attacks and kills three of them. One of them, Rohan manages to survive by playing dead until it leaves, managing to take a photo in the process. He finds a group of forest rangers who take him to safety.
Scene 3
The scene shifts to one Good Angel Public School. The teachers and principal are shocked to find blood and great claw marks on a wall and notice board in a corridor inside. The security guys say they have no idea how it happened, as they were on duty except for 10 minutes when they went out for lunch. The teachers tell them to search the school. A scared boy Ashish comes running saying a huge black monster is in a room there. The security guys go to check and soon returns with bloody injuries on his neck, screaming that there's a great beast in there, before collapsing. The teachers call the CID.
Scene 4
We see Daya sir, Sachin sir, Freddy sir, Purvi and Pankaj investigating. Daya sir finds a strand of hair stuck on the blood on the wall, and says it must've come from the beast's body. He consoles the boy Ashish, who describes the beast's appearance and says he'd seen it in the library. They visit the library and find a window with its metal bars twisted apart, with the parking lot below. Daya sir construes the creature entered and got away from this point, while everybody was searching near the notice board. He says they need to find out what animal it is, and how it got there.
Scene 5
Freddy sir and Pankaj catch a guy trying to steal from them, and arrest him.
Scene 6
A couple's car breaks down on a lonely road near the school, and the man gets out to check it. The lady is scared remembering the injured Rohan's interview on TV, about the fearsome monster on the loose. Eventually, the beast comes there stalking them, and then attacks and kills them.
Scene 7
Daya sir, Sachin sir, Freddy sir, Purvi and Pankaj are seen investigating and examining the couple's mangled bodies. The man who had found them explains that he had heard roaring sounds when he came there, but the beast had left before he could see it. Sachin sir finds a trail of footprints leading to the school.
Scene 8
The team is seen searching the school while Daya sir and Sachin sir question the staff about why the beast is repeatedly visiting their school. Daya sir asks them to close the school for a week, and Sachin sir asks why they're in school on a Sunday. Meanwhile, there's no sign of the beast in the school and Daya sir instructs Sachin sir to have CCTV cameras installed at all known places where the beast was sighted, and asks for footage that was captured in the youth Rohan's camera.
Scene 9
We see Abhijeet sir and the team in the bureau while a zoologist tries to determine what kind of animal they're dealing with, judging by the claw marks on the victims' bodies. Eventually he gives up and says the creature is some sort of enigma, as its hair, claw marks and photos don't match with any known species of animal. He says the hairs are unnaturally long while claws equally short. He leaves, and Abhijeet sir says they can only rely on the forensic experts to identify the beast now, and decides to meet Rohan, who's the only survivor among the victims.
Scene 10
We see Rohan lying in the hospital suffering from intense PTSD. The team arrives and comforts him, and questions him. He describes its terrifying appearance, says it lives in the jungle and seemingly runs in fear after killing its victims. He points out it left him alone when he started screaming for help. Abhijeet sir construes that there seems to be someone involved behind this monster.
Scene 11
In the bureau, we see Abhijeet sir, Sachin sir and Purvi discussing the beast's entry route into the city according to Rohan's information. Abhijeet sir explains that animals possess enough instincts to identify their paths to and from home, but rarely make unprovoked attacks. Sachin sir points out the beast didn't consume any of its victims, and leaves after killing them. Abhijeet sir says there's some reason for this unnatural behaviour. Sachin sir says they need to install CCTV cameras at all the above routes, and also patrol the areas for the residents' safety. Meanwhile Freddy sir and Pankaj inform the media to instruct citizens not to leave their homes.
Scene 12
In the forensic lab, Dr. Tarika tells Dr. Salunkhe that all the blood found at the killing sites is that of the victims, and as the beast didn't bite them, they couldn't find saliva or any other body fluid to obtain its DNA. ACP sir, Sachin sir, Jayawanti and others arrive and Salunkhe sir informs them that the footprints they found near the school are a human's. ACP sir and Sachin sir point out its huge claws and Rohan's photo, but Salunkhe sir is firm that the foot was a human's, and also the hair they found at the school contains the DNA of a man aged about 25 years.
Scene 13
The same team is seen examining CCTV footage of their newly installed cameras, and is worried that the beast is now mysteriously missing, not even coming out to hunt. ACP sir says they need to find and capture it somehow.
Scene 14
Daya sir and team are seen patrolling the school at night, armed with rifles. Suddenly, the beast turns up to attack Pankaj and Daya sir manages to shoot it on time. It runs into the building roaring and the team follows it insides and searches everywhere, but is unable to find it. Suddenly, they hear a vehicle engine starting up outside and rush there to check.
Scene 15
We see Varun Dhawan and dancers performing to the song Jee Karta (Badlapur) and then promotes the film. Once that's done, he tells his friends and crew that they'll be going out for lunch together. One of them instructs the driver Ramu to get their car ready. Outside, the beast turns up and attacks and kills Ramu. Varun ji and his friends and bodyguards arrive there, and one by one the beast grabs them and lethally hurls them onto the ground. Varun ji bravely tries to fight it off, but eventually the beast overpowers him, lifts him up and carries him away.
