Scene 1
The episode begins at a mall where we see Rebublic Day celebrations on. A group of mechanics enters and the mall manager after reprimanding them for being late asks them to fix a broken air conditioner. A janitor points the way to them. The mechanics enter the washroom and some guy already there walks out eyeing them suspiciously. One of the mechanics enters a cubicle and retrieves a bag with guns hidden inside, and distributes them to the others. They then start firing in the mall and shoot the security guard.
Scene 2
Abhijeet sir, Nikhil, Shreya and Ishita arrive outside the mall. The man who called them informs what happened and reveals that the phony mechanics have held about 30-40 people hostage inside, and are demanding to talk to the CID. Abhijeet sir talks to them on walkie-talkie and one of them demands for 5 crore rupees in cash within an hour. Abhijeet sir negotiates with him for an hour more, and requests him not to harm the hostages. Meanwhile the other cops find out that all entry points into the mall are heavily guarded. Abhijeet sir asks for the mall's layout plan and blueprint.
Scene 3
We see a school bus with children singing patriotic songs inside. Mr. Vijay, an English teacher joining newly, is welcomed by another teacher. We see a child Rahul sitting glumly, and his friend Sanju tries to cheer him up. Rahul says his father can meet him only once a month, and they were supposed to meet that day but he's sad as he's not here yet. Sanju encourages him saying his dad might be coming later that day. The bus is abruptly stopped on road by some thuggish-looking men.
Scene 4
ACP sir is seen talking to Abhijeet sir on phone in the bureau, instructing him to engage the hostage takers in talks while the team arranges for the money. Sachin sir wonders if it's prudent to pay those crooks. Purvi enters and informs that the schoolbus with children which was due at the Republic Day function two hours ago, has gone missing. She adds that the mobiles of all its passengers are switched off. ACP sir instructs to find out about these phones' last known location.
Scene 5
Daya sir, Pankaj and others arrive at the location of the last known activity of one of the phones, which Daya sir notes is at a much different route from the one leading to the bus' destination, JD Nagar. Judging by the tire marks on the road, Daya sir construes the bus driver had to apply sudden breaks for some reason. Pankaj finds a bullet shell there, implying the bus was forcefully stopped there. Several concerned parents of the missing kids arrive and ask to accompany the cops. Daya sir says the thugs must not find out that they're on their trail, or they might harm the kids. He asks them to leave and promises they'll save the kids.
Scene 6
In the bureau, the bus hijacker contacts ACP sir and demands them to release one Shera if they want the kids released. Freddy sir tries to track the call, but the software shows multiple sites of origin for some reason. He and Sachin sir say Shera will wreak havoc again if released. ACP sir says they need to save the kids at any cost.
Scene 7
We see the bus being held hostage by the hijackers in a clearing. Mr. Vijay approaches Rahul and quietly reveals he's his father in disguise. He says he can only meet him once a month as ordered by the court, and could not afford to miss this chance either. They share an emotional moment together, and the father says he'll plan to help them all escape. The other passengers are delighted to see him, and he says they need to create a diversion. Sanju requests the kidnappers to be taken to answer a call of nature. The guy rudely agrees and takes him after telling a guard from the rear end of the bus to guard the door. With his dad's help, Rahul climbs out of the now unguarded rear window. One of the guards hears sounds and comes to investigate, but Rahul successfully hides under the bus.
Scene 8
At the mall, Abhijeet sir keeps a suitcase containing the 5 crores cash outside the door and informs the hostage takers, who take it inside. Abhijeet sir asks them to release the hostages, but the leader further demands for an armed truck and personal helicopter to help them escape from there. Abhijeet sir refuses, but the guy threatens to murder the innocents if they don't comply.
Scene 9
Freddy sir brings Shera into the bureau, and ACP sir informs him he's about to be released. Shera cackles and delivers some egomaniacal speeches, and ACP sir says they'll surely defeat him in the end.
Scene 10
Freddy sir drives Shera to a desolate location in disguise on a bike, and tells him to get off. Shera tries taunting him and Freddy sir fearlessly tells him they'll not stop until he gets what he deserves, and drives off. (Loved this scene! FW, THIS is our REAL Freddy sir we love!)
Scene 11
Daya sir and others are seen searching the outgrowth area. Rahul arrives there, wondering what to do. He comes across Daya sir and Pankaj and is scared they're villains too, but they reassure him and he informs them about the bus and hostage situation. Daya sir says they'll save them all.
Scene 12
ACP sir, Freddy sir and Purvi are seen watching Shera from a hidden position. Suddenly, a couple of unknown people open fire upon him, and he just manages to save himself. The cops return fire and the attackers flee for their lives; Freddy sir chases after them. ACP sir and Purvi fiercely question Shera, who claims the attackers must be one of his many enemies and he has no idea if his gang hijacked the bus. ACP sir says he'll pay dearly if the hostages are harmed.
Scene 13
As soon as the thugs see Daya sir arrive, they force the bus to drive away, threatening the passengers at gunpoint. Daya sir chases the bus and leaps on top of it; the lead kidnapper tries firing at him from below. In the confusion, the bus loses control and ends up driving off the road and coming to a halt hanging less than half over a cliff overlooking a ravine. The driver and lead kidnapper are killed in the crash. Daya sir manages to climb inside to find the remaining kidnapper threatening the kids. He manages to disarm and throw him into the ravine, and then instructs all the passengers to move towards the back of the bus, shifting its centre of gravity and preventing it from falling over the edge. He helps them all dismount from the rear window, but at the critical moment notices a frightened little girl still stuck inside. He manages to get her out, but almost immediately the bus falls over the edge and explodes in the ravine.
Scene 14
At the mall, Abhijeet sir tries to contact the hostage takers but they now maintain a mysterious silence. Shreya finds an unguarded point of entering the mall. Abhijeet sir instructs the official to contact and divert the hostage takers' attention, and goes to check out the entrance.
Scene 15
The bus passengers are mourning what happened, but suddenly notice with great joy that Daya sir is hanging onto the cliff edge and attempting to climb up. They get ropes and successfully help him up. The children all thank him profusely, and their parents arrive to reunite with them. Daya sir thanks the kids for helping him too. Suddenly, Rahul notes that his friend Sanju and another kidnapper are still missing. Daya sir wonders why they took Sanju.
Scene 16
Abhijeet sir and the others break into the mall from the entry point Shreya found, and infiltrate it to reach the hostages and reassure them, but find the hostage takers missing. Suddenly, there's a blast from the underground parking lot. They evacuate the hostages and reach the parking lot to find a huge mess of a hole. Abhijeet sir construes the bad guys escaped from there, and blasted the entrance so the cops can't follow them. He adds that demanding for the truck and helicopter was just a diversionary tactic, and the hijackings are merely a small part of their plan.
Scene 17
In the bureau, Sachin sir brings details of Sanju's family which now consists only of his father, who's the chief engineer of the city's water supply, Paresh. Sachin sir says his mobile is switched off, and ACP sir says all these incidents are surely connected to Sanju and Paresh.
Scene 18
Back in the mall, Sachin sir rings up Abhijeet sir and updates him about Paresh. Abhijeet sir realizes the water supply plant is right next to the mall, and they infiltrate it and find Paresh critically shot there. He requests them to save Sanju and informs that some men broke into his cabin and threatened to kill Sanju unless he helped them divert the city's water supply to one Netra lake. Abhijeet sir asks if they can restore the original water supply, but Paresh says those men took the bypass key with them. He says they're planning something dangerous there in half an hour. Abhijeet sir arranges an ambulance for him and decides to visit the lake.
Scene 19
ACP sir, Daya sir, Freddy sir, Purvi, Pankaj and Vansh arrive at the lake. Freddy sir and Daya sir dive into the lake to find whatever the crooks put in there. The others wait and get worried when they do not resurface after a long time. Suddenly, two armed thugs open fire on them. There's a gunfight and the team manages to overpower and capture them. Daya sir finds a chemical bomb inside the lake and flings it high into the sky, where it explodes (safely or not, goodness knows). The thugs are unmasked and turn out to be the bus attendants. They say they had been paid to poison the water supply system. The bus hijack was done to kidnap Sanju and blackmail his father. He points out at the car where Sanju has been imprisoned. ACP sir condemns their evil deeds and orders them to be taken away. Purvi rescues and brings back Sanju, and ACP sir lovingly tells him he's safe now.
