Yes, this name is very common in North. I always had Aditya as my classmate in whichever section I was. And there are three Aditya in my locality, one of whom has Srivastava as his sir name. Even one of the lab assistants in my college shares his complete name with Aditya sir and every time his name is called or he comes in front of me, I can't resist myself from blushing as Aditya sir comes flashing in front of my eyes 😆.
