Ajay Devgn is entering a wedding. They promote Action Jackson. (Okay at least that's finished.) Meanwhile, a lady, Kirti, looks worried and walks towards the wedding party. Her husband comes to stop her from blessing their son, Sameer, because he hates her. He manages to convince her to go, but Sameer sees and gets angry at them. He says that his bua and fufa are his real parents as they left him when he was born. Sameer is stopped by his fufa, but he tells them to leave. They are leaving, but the husband stops to threaten the fufa. (And there you have it. A criminal in the making. š„±) Meanwhile, back in the party, ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, Daya, Freddy, Pankaj, and Shreya meet Ajay. At that exact moment, everyone is informed that Aanchal isn't opening the door. They all go towards the door, while Ajay notices 2 people escaping. He goes after them quietly, while Daya gets ready to break the door. But just as he's about to run towards it, Jaywanti breaks through the door and lands on Pankaj's feet. (Oh god. As much as I hate the OTT action, the way she landed right on Pankaj's feet was too funny. š¤£) She introduces herself as CID Officer Jaywanti Shinde. ACP Pradyuman refuses to believe it and tells Pankaj to keep an eye on her. On the other side Ajay catches the 2 men and delivers 2 hard punches knocking them down. (Yep full Ajay action.) The trio find that Aanchal is missing. ACP Pradyuman suspects that Jaywanti might know something. Freddy reaches Ajay to help and they say that they are thieves and say that they didn't go into the bride's room because someone else was there. Pankaj tells the trio that Jaywanti left. Ajay and Freddy bring the 2 thieves and repeat what they said. Pankaj and Freddy take the 2 thieves away. ACP Pradyuman thanks Ajay for his help. (Excuse me? He catches 2 thieves and he has helped?) There is some more Action Jackson promotion.
In the Star Wars bureau, the trio are discussing Jaywanti where she has already reached. ACP Pradyuman asks why she ran from the wedding reception. She says her boss phoned. DCP Chitrole enters saying Panipat. (Ugh! Someone please give me a couple of headache pills! First Action Jackson promotion (mind you I have no problem with the movie, just with the promotion), then Jaywanti's entry, and then DCP Chitrole. Why does everything have to happen in one episode and why in the episode I'm writing a WU for?!! š„ŗ) ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet make sarcastic comments. DCP Chitrole talks about history and then Daya. (Oh please. I've wasted 9 minutes already. What more do you want from me?!! ) DCP Chitrole gives Daya a piece of the door that he was about to break and when he turns Daya makes a motion as if to hit it on his head. (Yes. Do it. š¤£) Jaywanti talks about being Daya's big fan. (Nikhil is wearing such a weird outfit. It looks like a kurta with a blazer. Weird.) ACP Pradyuman asks what happened with Aanchal. Jaywanti says that the room was empty when she entered and she thought a thief was running, but the door was locked so she broke it. (Err I do believe locked doors can be unlocked from the inside...just saying.) Abhijeet thinks that maybe the thief kidnapped Aanchal.
On the futuristic computer screen, Abhijeet pulls up all the phones at the wedding reception site, while Jaywanti and Pankaj have an arm wrestle in the background. (Forget the bureau, this was quite interesting. Waise did anyone notice that the CID logo is red and green now?) ACP Pradyuman asks who DCP Chitrole has sent into the bureau. Purvi comes there and says the sketch is made. It turns out to be Robin, Sameer's father, who ACP Pradyuman recognizes right away. (Err...how did he recognize Robin?)
Kirti reaches home and finds Aanchal tied there. She unties Aanchal as Robin reaches there. Kirti questions him and asks if he wants to go to jail again, but he doesn't reply. He is staring at Aanchal in anger. He approaches Aanchal, who hides behind a drawer set scared. Robin picks up a candlestick and throws it on the ground. (Kirti was standing there like a statue. Is she crazy?)
DCP Chitrole refuses to believe that Sameer doesn't know where his father lives. Sameer refuses knowing as he is crying. DCP Chitrole starts looking at his watch as the trio start questioning Sameer about the address. Sameer refuses knowing anything, but blames his father. ACP Pradyuman asks why and he says because his father is a murderer. This makes DCP Chitrole start laughing. (Okay that's it! I'm taking an extended break after this episode. No more CID for 2 weeks. I'll watch it again when I have to do the WU for the 14th.) He acts like a child as ACP Pradyuman asks him what's wrong with him that a man is crying and he's laughing and jumping like a kangaroo. DCP Chitrole says that he had bet himself that Sameer would start crying in 2 minutes, which he did and it proves that he's lying. Purvi comes in with Robin's address. ACP Pradyuman tells Daya to go there. DCP Chitrole stops him with a whistle and reminds him he's forgetting something. Daya checks everything in his pockets, but he isn't missing anything. He points towards Jaywanti. ACP Pradyuman tells Daya quietly to take her and he'll make a new team once Chitrole is gone. Daya replies "Jee karta hai ke inke dono tang modad doon." (Do it. I agree!) DCP Chitrole puts on an act of being hurt. Daya takes Jaywanti with him. DCP Chitrole asks ACP Pradyuman what he said. ACP Pradyuman returns, "Jis din aap CID chor ke chale jayenge uss din pure CID main khushi ki leher dor jayegi". Suddenly DCP Chitrole's foot is better. (Uff. )
Daya, Freddy, Pankaj, Ishita/Divya, and Jaywanti reach Robin's address. Jaywanti wants to break the door, but Daya stops her. A man reaches there on bike and says that Robin just phoned for some stuff. Jaywanti tells Daya this. Daya tells Freddy and Pankaj to check the bag, but the man quickly runs away. Freddy, Pankaj, and Jaywanti chase after the man, while Daya breaks open the door and him and Ishita/Divya check the house. Jaywanti outruns Freddy and Pankaj and catches the man. (Okay I get that she's a new officer, but how much more will you show her as a hero?!! Suddenly Freddy and Pankaj aren't fit enough to catch someone?!! š„±) Freddy finds a knife in the bag. They bring him to Daya and Freddy says he came to rob the house, but Jaywanti caught him. Daya goes back in the house and there he finds Kirti and Aanchal. (Okay so you don't find anyone in your first round of the house, but when Jaywanti arrives suddenly everything is seen. Enough already!) Kirti is alive, but Aanchal was shot in the head. Jaywanti can't look at her and Daya tells her to get used to it. Jaywanti thinks Robin did everything.
In the hospital Kirti asks ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, and 2 background cops who they are. ACP Pradyuman says that they are from CID and they found her unconscious in her house and Aanchal dead. Kirti tears up at that and asks about Robin. Abhijeet says we want to know the same thing. Kirti looks around lost. Sameer reaches the hospital at that time. (For a moment I thought he was there about Kirti.) ACP Pradyuman asks if Robin killed Aanchal. At that time, Sameer reaches Kirti's room to ask about Aanchal and is shocked to hear that she's dead. Kirti tries to comfort him, but he stops her and blames Robin for murdering Aanchal. Kirti still doesn't say anything. Abhijeet asks to know what happened. Sameer also asks, but she doesn't say anything. He says that she won't say anything because she cares more about her murderer husband than her son. Then he leaves in anger. Abhijeet and ACP Pradyuman exchange glances.
ACP Pradyuman, Freddy, and a background cop reach the lab. Dr. Salunkhe and Tarika say that the gun was the same one that was used in the murder 10 years ago when Robin committed another murder.
Back in the bureau, Purvi tells the team that Robin's phone is off, but they have the list of the people he phoned in the past few days. Purvi does some hand movements and brings up the list. (Futuristic bureau my foot! That technology isn't even available publicly yet!) Jaywanti says that one man phoned Robin 10 days. ACP Pradyuman asks who. Purvi brings up the number. Jaywanti says that this man talked to Robin only once and then didn't pick up the call. Sameer says that the number is his. The trio question him. Sameer says he only picked up the call once, said hello, and cut the call. Purvi brings up the second frequent number. Sameer falls backwards and Daya asks whose number it is. Sameer says it's Aanchal's number. He says Aanchal didn't tell him and starts crying. ACP Pradyuman says they need to find out where Aanchal's parents are.
ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, and 2 background cops walk into a house. A shooting is going on in the house. A man, the caretaker, says that they give this house for TV serial and movie shootings and no one lives there. Abhijeet shows a photo of Aanchal and the caretaker says that she rented the house a few days ago. The actress looks towards the team and then looks away. He adds that she may have taken it for a meeting. The actress comes over and looks at the photo and says that her name is Smita and she's an actress, but she stopped acting for some time. Abhijeet asks for her address, but she doesn't know. ACP Pradyuman says now we'll see how big of an actor her parents are. (Chalo finally some proper investigation!)
Aanchal's parents are meeting in a restaurant talking about being stuck. They want to leave the city else they'll be jailed. They are leaving, but ACP Pradyuman trips them. Abhijeet and the 2 background cops surround her. The lady reveals that they were paid to play Aanchal's fake parents.
At Sameer's house, the bua can't believe that her brother did something like that. The fufa gets a call and is shocked to hear the news. He says that Kirti ran away from the hospital. Kirti suddenly reaches the house. The son hides behind a sofa, while Kirti demands where Robin is from Kunal, the fufa. Sameer asks how does Kunal know where Robin is. Kirti reveals that Kunal was the murderer and blamed Robin. Kunal refutes that. Sameer looks shocked. Kirti demands to know where Robin is else the gun will be fired today. At that moment the son throws his cell phone at Kirti and catches Sameer. Kunal says that no one will survive today. Then Kunal hits Sameer over the head and takes them up to the roof. Sameer asks Kunal to leave his parents who are in a death trap. Kunal leaves the rope and Sameer catches it, but it slips out of his hand and his parents fall to the ground. As he looks down he finds that they fell on a floatable where CID was waiting. (Ugh. OTT drama. This is reminiscent of those 70s movies where the dutiful son willingly does everything for his parents.) The son and Kunal run, but Jaywanti jumps in front of them and beats them both up alone. (Ugh again. Slow mo action to show that Jaywanti is strong and unbeatable. Give me a break!) She takes them up to the roof and jumps down with them as the rest of the team watch.
Abhijeet slaps Kunal for his confession. ACP Pradyuman says that you committed a murder 10 years ago and blamed Robin and forced Kirti to go away from Sameer. Kunal says he did that for money because Deepali and Robin were quite rich. He thought he would get money if he married Deepali, but he didn't. ACP Pradyuman asks Robin what he was doing outside Aanchal's room. He says that he found out that Kunal hired Aanchal to keep Sameer trapped. Kunal says he would have been successful, but Aanchal started blackmailing him so he killed her and tried to trap Robin. Freddy and Pankaj take the 2 away. Sameer thanks ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet for what they did. (Finished. Yes! š Now bye, bye.)
