Oh God! Thou creator of this universe,

Thy nation stands in a state so adverse.

Liberation from all crimes we seek,

Liberate the poor especially the meek.

Quench the dying's thirst,

Save the nation from an outburst.

Lead us with your might hand,

Send us not into dreary desert sand.

We plead thee to save the nation and the earth

To make India a nation where crimes are at dearth

The future of India lies at stake,

Into that heaven of freedom my father, let my country awake.
