The age range is too much to efficiently manage. 15 yr old may be interested in quiz but not 5 yr old. Keep painting competition for under 8 and quiz for seniors.

Ask the smaller ones to narrate stories.

You can add Acting compition as well for smaller kids I mean... We added this in the Summer camp we organized this year and kids loved it...

painting is the best option for age group you mentioned,
essay,speech,debate,dumbcharades

for tiny kids,sing songs,dance,make tiny tents...imaginary picnic
