It is very old trick of every channel creative team...when we are used to one character or actor,,they just have tried to make an experiment by changing the character or actor...sometime this trick does not hamper the show,,,but it does not work with popular shows like CID, LTL and so on..so the channel must understand the pulse of viewer...otherwise .they must face the audience-lost, TRP-lost..

But as per the article,,it is just a twist..so just waiting for the twist and then return of Shivaji as our ACP. again...

If this twist gose as per viewer choice then it is ok...otherwise this show also will loose its popularity and viewer😕

Okay..as of now,what appears is that its a series,wherein a new ACP would be there and cid team facing troubles and at the end-ACP Pradyuman and his team back after a triumph over the criminal..This idea of bringing in a new ACP sounds similar to that trial in london series.

This series might have a different idea although.But shouldn't be a repeat of AC series or something like it🤔

Doesn't really seem that Shivaji Sir would leave CID

Deepak Shirke might play ACP Pradyuman replacing Shivaji Satam!

Fans of Sony TV's CID are currently enjoying back to back special episodes produced by director BP Singh. First it was Aamir Khan who was seen promoting his film Talaash and recently it was Salman Khan who enthralled masses with his Dabangg style promoting his forthcoming film Dabangg-2.

But the news from the reliable source from the telly town is surely a disheartening one for the fans ofShivaji Satam, the recognized person in CID, ACP Pradyuman.

Well, as reported by many media reports in the past about Shivaji Satam quitting CID owing to some creative differences with production house, latest it is heard that a track has been developed wherein ACP Pradhyuman will get caught in a major case and will be asked to get out of the CID team.

According to source this particular track was planned a few months back, even before Shivaji Satam got into a creative spat with the channel. In fact Sony had planned a major track wherein ACP Pradhyuman will be ousted without the knowledge of Shivaji Satam. And when Shivaji got to know of this particular track, he got furious because he was not kept in the loop and this led to a major creative difference between the actor and the channel.

Now, the CID is hunting for a suitable ACP Pradyuman and if buzz is to be believed Bollywood actor Deepak Shirke has been approached to switch Shivaji's role. Deepak has played negative character in films like Ishq, Hum, Agneepath, Sarkar, Judwaa, Chaalbaaz and many more

The new actor would be named acp praduman or something else.. I saw sbs today n reporter said its a publicity stunt or nt will get to knw later on... Hope he reuturns back..fingers crossed
