In the title track why is Abhi sir's name written as Abhijit and not Abhijeet 😕

actually both spellins are correct. Both variations have been used many times

I have seen Abhijit used only when they showed the fake Abhijeet's house... Else they have always used Abhijeet

I think they used it in a few titles like Abhijit in jail and Abhijit ki ma. Am not 100% sure though. Maybe some astrological reasons

When we write in Hindi we put the long ee matra. Also 'jeet' is victory and when we talk of just jeet we dont write it as jit. It's always Abhijeet for me.

Yes there is difference in meanings also I guess.
Because I've heard my mom saying that '' Abhijit'' is the name of a ''nakshatra'' (constellation) in marathi.
And ''Abhijeet'' is related to victory. I think it means ''one who always emerges victorious''.
