The Case of Flat no. 211 is a very different kind of case.
Dead body found in a house is nothing new for CID but a dog having felt something wrong in the flat for a month 24x7 is different. But, as it happens, none take a domesticated dog's recognition seriously. The belief that dogs regardless of breed and size can see ghosts is taken up here. Being a dog owner myself, I have come across this belief very often when my dog growls and barks like a maniac at odd hours in the night. Each time it is proved criminal elements were around😲
It is to be credited that the script writer has used an out of the way idea to good use here. In this episode we realise why Pradyuman is an ACP. When the neighbours are questioned and the dog owner neighbour tells his experience, ACP takes it very seriously. He sees the reaction of the dog first hand and summons the police sniffer dog👍🏼 (we don't see Freddy getting afraid of dogs here)
Then the body in the wall is discovered and the rest as people say is history or should I say herstory 😉 afterall the body found is a girl's.
The moment ACP asks th edog to be brought in, we see Abhijeet too goes into action-observation mode. Isn't that what seniors do by which juniors look up to them? In this case, finally the undercurrent is the message to people that when moving into new places incase old things or furniture is left behind make a thorough investigation.
Later in the investigation a sentence by the painter that he didn't finish the job is again taken seriously. Our lives revolve around such one liners and so do relationship equations.
All in all I go back to this episode to learn some aspect of life. Any wonder this era cases have our undivided attention⭐️
