Actually !!! This episode was from where a certain negativity entered CID ... from that time till Daksh's exit ... even though we had some classics ... I didn't enjoy that era at all ... It was I don't know why tough to tolerate ... on one hand Asha had left ... on the other this negativity that was brought in by Anjalika ... it was a bit irritating !!

That was the time when I missed CID - 2004-2006 end. Looks like if I had been watching it on TV, I would have got really depressed. It's a co incidence you know...😆

A lucky co incidence !!!
but on one hand i was sad to see this depressing CID atmosphere on the other I was happy that there were some nice good cases in that time !! Some classics like Banjara,Staged Murder ... etc etc came around that time ... so case and stories wise it was really an excellent era !!! But more that Anjalika's presence Asha's absence depressed me !!

Actually I didn't know that Ashwini had left for good. I thought it was one of those disappearances...she had even disappeared in 1999-2000 for a few months. Then I left India for 2 - 2 and a half years and there was no youtube those days. When I came back, I was looking at the Khooni mosquito mat episode...Vivek and Muskaan and all. I was shocked ki yeh sab kaun hai.😆 Thankfully our duo were there, so I continued. Otherwise I would have quit.

heheh I know ... when I restarted watching CID I started with reruns and at that time it was 2002/3 reruns coming so was happy enough to see Asha !! then one fine day I decided to watch CID on Friday 10 PM .. and that was Behroopiya ... I was shocked for a moment to see Abhi sir in a coat ... Daya sir with a new grown mustache and also grown a bit healthy 😛 ... ACP sir with black hair ... Freddy behaving weird ... 2 new kids out there ... and above all ... no Asha !!! I had no clue she had left ... I came back to see her ... like you even I'd say it was duo's presence that held me back to the show !!

Was missing Daya a lot and was reminded of the Mr Arvind episode...was just watching it online.

Such a sweet scene - 'Aajkal ladke ladkiyan jaldi pyar mein padte hain'.

And Abhijeet lifts his eyebrows in a peculiar way and says 'tumhe kaise maloom', to which Daya puts on an embarrassed expression and says 'aise hi'.

Later, they go to meet Arvind in his office and Daya shows the picture of Kavita. Arvind asks 'yeh kaun hai', to which Daya says 'photo hai, haathi ki'.🤣 Wowow.!!!!!

No Re-runs today?? I too watched Case of the mysterious Mr. Arvind and that episode was too good. Freddy's dance scene while singing tirchi topi wale was very funny.
