What made him choose Special Bureau over other shows? "There's always something new and different to do on this show. The storylines keep changing and I can also indulge in action."

Apart from Special Bureau, Kushal will be seen in Star One's Yeh Dil Chahe More, from Monday. "My character is that of a lawyer, named Rahul Arora. Even though he hails from a wealthy family, there isn't any arrogance in him. He is the most sensible guy in the family."

On the film front, after Kaal, the actor will be seen in Nikhil Advani's Salam-e-Ishq. " I am thrilled to be a part of this project, simply because the concept of the film is unique. There are six different stories. I am
working with Govinda, and I play an NRI. There is lot of comedy revolving around me. I start shooting for the film in the first week of January."
