Therw haa been a steep downfall in the quality if the show this year, ever since bi weekly strted! Surely biweekly format gave them TRPS and as a result money but a far as the quality is concerned, it has gone from bad to worse.
I wont say that there have been no good episodes at all. There have been certain episodes which have created a lot of impact among the viewers and surely, they go into the list of some of the best episodes of the show. For example : this year we had, Khoon ki holi..... Khatra Chemical Bomb ka, Manali Muder, Deshdrohiyon ke viruddh CID, Kissa lodnapped Bachhe ka( quite a nice episode).... And some Ac parts like part 1, part 5 and part 7 and part 8 were good too with special mention of 8! Certain changes brought have been positive according to me and some others i suppose-- like, We wanted Abhi-Tarika track to end and it did! We wanted Feddy to be treated as a senior officer and so less of stupidy from him.... This track has seen fluctuations though.
Rest all varied between bad to average episodes. The consistency graph is nowhere to be seen! Story writers have been suffering a lot because of shetage of ideas i suppose. Certain points are repeated just too frequently! Casting has seen a downfall as well qith no surprises stored for us! Its become too predictable!
One major problem that CID faced afyer bi weekly was the team management which hampers the episode to a large extent! Disconnected scenes are surely a big loss to an episode!
Acp shouting all the time! He wasnt like this before! Where is our Acp Pradyuman? The super duper intelligent detective and a brilliant leader?
Daya's character too has seen a gradual downfall! The soft hearted Daya is now being promoted as a source of power only! His character has become more about depicting strength! How scary he has become! That piano dialogue is pathetic
Loose ends in the episodes, dragged direction and poor baclground score sometimes have all added to the negatives! The concept of 3 forensic docs is also so stupid to digest and as a result the lab scenes have become nonsensical at times...with "gobar analysis" for 15 minutes or so!
I dont want the show to get over. Its not possible to just live on the classics! How many time can we watch them? I want my fyture generations to know about the show qith positive feelings and i want them to agree with me that CID was the best and will be better soon! Its not that FW is not capable of giving us good episodes. There are many things which FW and Sony can do... But they gotto pay attention to our greivances first and take neccessary steps acordingly!
End the biweekly format as soon as possible and get rid of the extras! Give ebough prominence to TRIO ans treat Freddy with due respect! Viivek and Tasha should be given the needed footage too! If FW need story ideas, please organise contests via which we fans can reach to them with our stories legally! A proper well planned procedure is all we need! Sony needs to understand that CID is not just a 2 month all saas bahu show and accordibgly promote it with dignity! Promting other shows on CID should be stopped!
I have lots more to add! But for now, just this much is enough 😆
