See....whether we like it or not, we must accept that Abhijeet is second-in-command. People who have seen the 1999 episodes will know this well.
Now, would you think any boss will tell the third-in-command about a plan without telling the second-in-command? Not very likely.
So, if there is any 'plan', ACP would tell both Abhijeet and Daya or Abhijeet alone, depending on the situation.
About Talking Parrot....suppose ACP had asked Daya to take charge of the case...Abhijeet who is second-in-command has every 'right' to know about the whereabouts of the rest of the team, including Daya. ACP couldn't have let only Daya know about it. But, officially as per rank, Daya has no 'right' to know about Abhijeet's whereabouts. Difficult to accept for some, but that's the way official heirarchy works. It is not a question of capability.
