Also like Abhijeets dialogue after coming out from the jewelery shop. Daya has bought a gift for Sonali 'hum bhi dost hai tumhare humme to tabhi kuch nahi diya'. somewhat like that.

I was moved by Viren's lines at the end of Kissa Bekasur Shikar Ka. Both the writer and Ashutosh did a fantastic job. 😊

I agree completely. Viren won my respect there and I started liking him now.

That was a fantastic dialogue....but Viren's exit was completely unlike what he was shown here. In Kissa Bekasur Shikar Ka he was shown as a very dedicated officer who didn't hesitate to arrest his friend but in his last episode he was shown 'out-of-character', where he allowed a criminal to stay in his house and shielded him from the CID team.

Yeah that was a bid odd. Though he did stop himself at the end from what I remember. I think they were going for the typical Bollywood story where the hero is stuck between his duty and his word/family and all that. The hero initially falters but finds his way back to the right path in the final act.

Still I think they could have done better. For example they could have shown Viren disobeying a direct order from the department to save someone's life or by taking a chance with a man he knows is innocent but all the evidence is against him. Or something like that. A situation where his morals are not compromised but he still ends up with a transfer.

hmm I have can't recollect seeing this case so would know. You mean to say Viren knew Pawan Malhotra was a criminal and yet he tried to shield him OR he felt Pawan was not a criminal but has been framed so he tries to help him?

He knew Pawan was a criminal. ACP and Daya were working overtime searching for him.
Pawan pulled off an emotional blackmail against Viren. He had once saved Viren's son from a road accident and Viren was indebted to him.

If I remember correctly, when Pawan saved Viren's son/daughter, one of his legs was crippled and that added to the emotional blackmail. Also, at the time of the accident Viren had no clue about Pawan's criminal background but he knew about it when Pawan returned and asked him to hide from the law.
