Sure, from whatever I can recollect. Daya Sir with I think Asha, Freddie and Sudhakar are investigating about something during which they raid a club. The owner tells them that he pays Inspector Abhijit every month, for the first time there was a delay and he has had to put up with this raid. They take him to the bureau and inform the ACP. Abhi Sir is called immediately and tell him about what happened. They ask the owner if he recognises him. He says no, who is he. They tell him he is Inspector Abhijit, he said but he is not the one he has been paying for so long. CID team understand that someone in the name of Abhi Sir is fooling people and taking money. They investigate further and find the person's house. ACP and Abhi Sir enter his house, waiting for him to come so that he can be caught. When they look around the house they find that all the photographs of Abhi Sir that were printed in the papers has been morphed and his face is replaced with this fake guy. One of the pics has this guy standing with ACP as well 😆. They sense that someone is opening the door, they hide. The fake Abhijit enters and falls, when they check him they find he is dead. Now the investigation starts for the murderer.

1 thng doesnt change wen abhi is in disguise- his harmless and funny conversations wt women!!

and my gawd he s really d master of disguise! in d taipan snake case, for eg, wen he entered d pet shop in his disguise, it took me actually 10 full minutes to realise it ws abhi sir!! i cudnt even recoginize him, he ws looking really like a crook!!!! i loved his manner of walking, whistling and talking in an accented voice and then d sudden change of expression and voice-''CID''. hahaha it ws so funny!!!!

Another lovely scene is in THE CASE OF THE HELPLESS KILLER. Here the CID team is waiting for someone at the petrol pump. Everyone is either hidden or pretending to be a worker.

Apne Abhi Sir is dressed as in that purple uniform (don't know how to describe it) and his is stationed where he has to check Tyre ki Hawa. Just then ACP acting as customer enters and says to Abhi Sir - "hey suno, sab tyre ja hawa-pani check karo. Aata hai na". To this Abhi Sir give world's best reaction. The expression is like ki wah khud to customer bane ho aur humen gadha majoori mein laga diya hai type and he says - "haan saab, nahin aata hoga to seekh lenge". (something similar). But I just loved that scene. Abhi Sir is tooooooooo cute at times.

Yeah that is an awesome scene. Its like in disguise he turns into a different human being altogether. I love the way he says "oo bech diya, kisko, kisko becha tumne". The shopkeeper does some blah blah. Now Abhi Sir is half way into getting into his own character - "Aye batao kisko becha tumne". He sound so amazingly different. Its like half in disguise and half as Abhi Sir (I hope you know what I mean). He turns back to Abhi Sir completely by the time he says "CID", but due to the getup looks really funny.

I think I have the gun gun clip will have to find it but I don't have the barber wala clip. I had not started recording till then when it was shown. Then they never went back to those cases.

Although I like all their disguised scenes, my vote goes to Abhi sir indeed. He expertly pulls off so many types of undercover roles, it's really remarkable. I remember when I was younger I watched the Case Of The Undercover Cop, where he goes undercover as a novice drug dealer to tackle the higher ups in the smuggling gang. That was a really tense part and his performance made the episode, IMO. It was recently rerun too, though I only managed to catch the second half. 😊
