@astonish ... kohla literally means sweet pumpkin !!!

Like Sweet pumpkin grows on a creeper which is entangled and jumbled ... the lyricist compares the word makdi ki jaal to the creeper !!!

On the other hand ... Kohla also meets 'route' or 'escape' ... so the lyricist means "what's the use of searching for a route or escape out of this spider's web" !!!

Will try rip the mohandas film CD I have and upload it .... not sure about the links available !!!
