Frnds today's was a powerful episode starting from the beginning till the end, though there were a few loop holes but still it was good. My respect for Dev grew after watching this episode. MAN !!! The way, he stood his grounds for Radhika and defended her and argued with Amma ji, All the tall claims of Amma and her strong statements stood lame against his statements.
The start itself was mesmerisng….
Amma closing the door and here the little Nandu hops in asking her if she was going to Delhi to visit his Radhika didi. Amma said a powerful dialogue --- "Tok diyo !! Tok diyo !! Subh kaam karne jaa rahi thi or tune Tok diyo". It's a belief in us Indians that when one is going we should not call him back as that's a bad omen and then for whatever thing we would be going won't happen. So u see, Amma was going to tell a lie, but Kanha already with his this little interruption gave her the indication, that it is better if she supports the truth, otherwise she won't be successful, which itself happened with Dev arguing her stands and her testification completely invalid. In fact her GD's one more shameless act was unveiled by Dev in front of her father.
The appearance of Nandu, just after the statement of Visakha of who will testify Radhika's words has confirmed me now that its Nandu's statement which would unveil the truth and not Devaki, She will not say the truth bu when Nandu would speak in his innocent voice all hell will break loose on these Shastri women.
Arrival of Amma in PB.
Amma very craftily avoided taking the oath of his son and took the vow of the spiritual diya and told the lie. She infact just like her Poti scoffed and challeneged the Lord directly once again in her over-confidence, that since only the family members knew about it, no one can testify Radh's words as all the Shastri women considers her merely as a servant and even if Devki has little soft corner for Radhika, she would bury it for the honour of her husband.
She herself has put forth many incidents of the past such as Rad's going to Kirtans instead of Visakha, etc to solidify her arguments, but forgot when the truth will be revealed all these stance will go away, as then everybody would clearly understand why Rad's used to go, and how they torchered her from the birth.
She in her arrogance, brought the fact that Radhika fell in love with Dev and to acquire him did all this nonsense, that too in front of upright Dev who clearly brought out the truth, that he never-ever wanted to marry Visakha, thus making it clear in front of Shastri ji also today that his blood never-ever had any place in his heart and was not worth of a glance also.
Amma again scoffs him by saying he is blindfolded by the fake love of Radhika and he has no proof, thus challenging him directly, in return of which Dev also scoffs her statement by stating that all of us know how impartial are u in ur justice when the justice is for Radhika, thus nullifying all her statements she made. To make it more clear, he even bought out the shameful act of ONS of her dear GD. Today when he was describing about the ONS he did not say, ---- "Babuji, Visakha asked me a ONS" but stressed on the word --- " UR daughter asked me ONS although she knows, she has no rights on me". The way Amma ji always describes Radhika's acts and joins it with her being a bad blood, similarly today Dev described Visakha's shameful act and joined it with their blood. Amma was angry as well as shocked that he brought this thing out. She had not expected it.
Disappointed with the CV's
Amma today was going on asking everybody that how could they not recognize whether it was Visakha or Radhika under the veil when they were all so near to her. Radhika was going on repeating that b'coz I was under the veil and later on the bride's were switched. I was going on thinking maybe Radhika would rattle that they could not recognize me on the wedding just as they did not recognize me in the RP puja. This statement would have shut Amma and Visakha up completely as it would have the seal of Dev and Shastri ji as the witness.This little statement though would have baffled the Purohits but also give them an assurance that Radhika was indeed telling the truth. In fact Dev could have also added that this switch idea was also from the brains of Amma only.
Cv's could have easily brought this truth also out and would have binded the story more with the past but they did not do that, so I was a bit disappointed, hope that they make Radhika use this statement when Devki would also not support her.
