Part 1
The episode begins with Vaishali asking Shastriji if he won't listen to her either. Vaishali says I am here only for my son's happiness, I know this is your house and who lives here and who does not is your decision, but I have still come here to request, if Vishaka wants to stay for the wedding, let her stay Shastriji. Dev removes his sunglasses. Shastriji is quiet and then Vaishali says if you don't agree to my request, this consider this the groom's mothers stubbornness, don't let Vishaka go, stop her. Shastriji says maine aapko apno putri saupne na nirnay liya hai, athev aapke prati ichcha aur hatt ka sammaan karna hi mera dharm hai (I have decided to give you my daughter, therefore it is my duty to respect your every wish and stubbornness). Shastriji says if you want her to be present for this wedding, then ot will be so. Radhika, Shastri women and Vaishali are happy. Dev is happy looking at Radhika. Shastriji requests Dev and Vaishali to come in, she says thank you for respecting my word but we have to go home and do his haldi too. Shastriji says you have come here for haldi, we will not let you go without putting tika. Shastriji takes Vaishali in and asks Amma to sit with Vaishali and then asks Devki to get refreshments. When they are gone, Amma tells Vaishali, should I tell you something, I am very grateful to you, you explained to Lalla and stopped Vishaka from leaving. Vaishali says you must understand the reason I have stopped Vishaka? Vaishali and Amma share knowing smiles.

Part 2
Dev says after haldi we should not be meeting but I was thinking that if we do meet, it isn't a crime. Radhika smiles shyly. She says every ritual has a reason, dulha dulhan ko haldi lagane ke bad jab shudh kiya jada hai, toh woh ek dusre ko phir agni ke pheron ke saamne ki dekhte hai (once the haldi ceremony is done and the bride and groom are considered purified, they then see each other only in front of the holy fire). Suddenly Dev hears someone talking to Vaishali and they both leave. Vaishali is headd towards her car, she bids Shastriji good bye, Devki, Vishaka and Amma are also there, Vishaka takes Vaishali's blessings and Vaishali says saubhagyavati bhav (blessings usually given for married women- means may you always be a married woman/blessing for marital happiness). Amma is very happy, Vishaka is shocked, Devki and Shastriji are surprised. Then Radhika comes to take her blessings and Vaishali says khush raho (be happy), Dev also takes the elders blessings and mother and son leave.Amma asks Devki the sun is almost up, are we not doing haldi? Devki tells my daughter come, I will get you ready for haldi, Amma says aaj toh aisan haldi khelenge ki rang dulhan se utre hi na (we will play with so much haldi that the color will not come off the bride), she then takes Vishaka aside and says shagun ki pehli haldi toko lagegi (the first haldi will be put on you), Vishaka is confused and Amma says and your jhootan/used stuff on Radhika. Vishaka says what do you mean? Amma says you will sit in the doli/palanquin and go. Vishaka is looking at Amma's face and smiles and says don't worry your granddaughter will definitely go in the doli. Amma says thank God my daughter got her brains back in time. Vishaka laughs and they both leave.
Back in the Purohit house, the haldi ceremony has started, Dadi asks Vivek where Dev and Vaishali are. Chacha says you didn't know Viahslai and Dev have gone to Vrindavan. Dadi says Vrindavan? why? Chacha says perhaps to meet their real Choti Bahu. Dadi gets angry and says Susheel and says this house has only one Choti Bahu- Radhika and therefore there is no question of real or fake. Villians look at Dadi.
In Vrindavan, Radhika offers to grind the haldi, Devki says what are you saying, you will grind the haldi for your own wedding, Radhika smiles shyly, Amma watched angrily (Amma has changed into a orange sari and all the women are dressed in orange/yellow color saris/outfits). Devki asks Radhika to go change, put oil in her hair and wear old clothes to get ready for the ceremony. Radhika nods happily. Devki calls Vishaka and asks her to help Radhika get ready. Vishaka takes her inside.
Part 3
Radhika is in a yello sari with red border, Vishaka makes her sit in front of the mirror and starts oiling her hair, Radhika and Vishaka are smiling. Devki meanwhile asks someone to mix water and sesame oil into the haldi when Amma gets up and volunteers to do it. Devki seems surprised and says ok Amma ji take it but remember the first haldi has to be put on Radhika, the ritual should begin with her. Amma says I am your mother-in-law, you are not mine, I know what to do and what not to do. Devki hesitatingly gives the haldi to Amma. A song begins for the occasion (women are singing banno teri ankhiyan surme daani), they show Vishaka oiling Radhika's hair. Amma calls Vishaka aside and says please mix sesame oil and water. Vishaka says this I have to do? Amma says you want to do shagun stuff at your sister's wedding or not? Vishaka says of course I want to, what do I have to do. Amma says mix those two things into the haldi and mix it properly with your hands. Vishaka is looking at her hands, Amma says everything will be mixed properly. Vishaka says with my hands, ok give it me. Vishaka leaves and Amma smiles and says if she mixes it with her hands, toh lag gayi haldi(then the haldi is on her).
Vishaka asks someone to get the oil and water, she is about to put her hands in the haldi but looks around (govind gopal radhe radhe is playing), Vishaka takes her a spoon and starts mixing. Radhika comes by and asks her what she is doing, Vishaka explains that Amma told her to mix the haldi with her hands but she doesn't want the haldi color to come on her nails or she wouldn't be able to put on the pearl nail color. Radhika says ok give me and she starts mixing the haldi with her hands and Amma passes by and says what have you done Vishaka, why didn't you mix it with your hands, Vishaka says ok I didn't do, I didn't do, your work is over, now you go and check what people outside are doing. Vishaka then takes Radhika outside with the haldi and says good you mixed it or I would have got screaming from amma.
Part 4
Devki looks at Radhika's hands and says you already put haldi, Radhika realises that her hands are filled with haldi. Devki says I told Amma that the shagun should be done with your hands and see, it happened. Radhika explains that it happened while putting oil, Devki smiles and says good it happened. Devki tells Vishaka bitiya jaldi chal pehla shagun tujhe hi karna hai haldi lagane ka (cmon Vishaka the first shagun/first auspicious event/omen has to be done by you), Vishaka says ok. The song starts playing again- Vishaka applies haldi in Radhika's face and hands, then other women apply it on Radhika as well. Devki has covered Radhika's head with her pallu, Amma is watching grumpily, The song progresses, Vishaka starts applying haldi on everyone, Shastriji puts some on Radhika, devki also puts it on Radhika.
Meanwhile Birju announces that Dev and Vaishali have come, Chacha asks that everyone begins the rasam. As Vaishali and Dev come in, Dadi says today haldi rasam will not take place. Everyone is shocked, Vaishali asks why? Dadi says because the auspicious time has passed, now we cannot do it. Vaishali says I didn't know otherwise we would not have...Dadi says if you had told me and gone, I would have told you when the auspicious time was. Vaishali says I am sorry, if we had told you and gone you wuldn't have let us go, thats why we thought we will go quickly and return. Dadi seems upset. Everyone leaves, Dev goes to Dadi who seems upset and says sorry Dadi, for the first time I have done somethign which you don't approve of, but I was helpless. dadi says I just wanted to lessen the pain Vishaka gave you, dev says Dadima, I have no relation with Vishaka, I just want that tomorrow when Radhika comes are a bride to take pheras, she doesn't have any regret in her mind, Radhika has asked me that is our love so weak that it cannot face this truth? Dev says I was uneasy and din't know what to do and that's why I took mother and left for Vrindavan, but really she is happy to have Vishaka back and if Radhika is happy, then I am happy. Dadi says in your happiness is my happiness but I would like to say something- I will never forgive Vishaka nor keep a relationship with her. Dadi then leaves.
In Vrindavan, Devki asks Vishaka to go to get water after doing a puja with other women to wash off Radhika's haldi. Amma plots to not get the shagun water fall on Radhika and clean off her haldi.
Precap: Amma is near the cow and calf and says I have been feeding you since childhood, now is the time to repay the debt. She lets loose the calf and the calf runs haywire as the women run and the pots of water break, Shastriji and Devki are shocked, Amma is happy.
