i bet he did hear, but he wasn't sure if he heard right- otherwise i think he would have tried to respond to what radhika said. i think he would have showed her the mangalsutra saying that now that vish has left him, what does he do, and if he did hear, he would tell rads that now he can tell everyone he loved rads, not vish.
