first thing u need to realise is.. love is not logical or practical... i knw it sounds cliched.. but u do not really sit n consider before falling in love with some1... it just happens! and as its said 'beauty lies in the eye of the beholder'.. it is hard for others to understand why two people might love each other.. even in real life.. people end up falling for the most unlikely person.. and only they themselves can understand why they love that person... remember the famous friend's line: "I don't see what you see in him! He's just not the right persn for you" sound familiar? lol only the person who loves some1 understand exactly why they do.. and the truth is.. the reasons arent always logical or practical!

n personally i think the whole beauty of love is that it makes u irrational and emotional... if u r always practical in making decisions regarding u n ur loved one... n always dun include emotions... then it isn't really love.. is it? the whole thing abt love is that the emotions are so strong that they drive you to be irrational at times!

ok now enough of my philosophy class on love... 😆

regarding dev knowing that rad lies a lot to him. dev is sure that she loves him... n claims he sees the truth in her eyes.. he thinks he's married to vish.. n so thinks the reasons 4 rad lying is that she is his saali (according to dev).. which is why she is keeping her emotions regarding him to herself... n dev believes in fighting destiny to be together with the one u love.. so he's trying to get her to admit it to him before he begins fighting the world to be with her!

even though i see where ur coming from... personally i think currently.. both dev n rad's actions make complete sense..
rad's is in a dilemma (wanting to b with dev.. but being indebted to shastris.. n being an introvert.. she doesn't have courage to fight for her love and right).. n this dilemma is reflected in her actions (she denies she loves dev.. n is trying to push him away.. yet gets happy whenever he does something for her.. n is obeying her patni dharm)
dev... is determined that rad is lying and that he n rad r destined to be together.. n so wants to get her to admit it.. and is pursuing her without fear or reservation (and i dun think what he's doing is wrong.. cuz he's still within his limits.. he's just declaring his love for her.. they key here is that he even thought his marriage was happening with rad. Had the story been such that he agreed to marry vish.. but later on still pursued his love for rad.. that would be wrong.. but since he thought he was marrying rad.. n later found vish..his actions make sense to me!)

jokes apart, I understand what ur saying....Actually the love story was not developed well in CB....Dev just saw Radhika once or twice and he got mad abt her...itna ke he was ready to elope with her, without thinking abt his family and his marriage with Vish ! then it was always acting stupid like a Devdas, was ready to leave everything and go back to US just bec. he wanted to forget Radhika...and now tht he's seen him, he's giving enought clues to Mrinalini tht he loves Radhika..he's not thinking abt the consequences...

It wud have been more logical (very difficult in CB though) if he had fallen in love with her slowly after knowing her..like now when she's staying in his house, he can see how caring & loving she is, everybody is praising her etc. etc.
