Angie, if I not disturb with my request, you can make a VM with RaDev dances from CB2, and some pictures with Rohan fake love for Radhika? Look at the words of this melodie, singed by Sting:

There was one scene I wanted to use for this song. But I forgot about it when I was making it. But the substitute scene is also quite good. In fact, I had to cut this scene a lot because there were only few lines that were from this scene. Avinash had really emoted very well in this scene. Also it was one of his rare solo scenes and neither Padma/Dai were into it. Actually before this scene, I had thought of another one but I couldn't get even one single scene as Padma kept on popping up in that one.

Hope you like the scenes I have used for this VM.

Angie..its so amazing to see your creations (first time very impressive VMs⭐️⭐️)..First i am watching Devs dream sequence which i must say very very nicely done with almost all of my only fav. scenes from CB2 and then Bholus Courtship videos (you know i like radhika more but i have soft spot for Bholu for well known and very common reason😉)..but i am not finding part2-3 of this series..Anyways one more point, i really liked your Index..it made my work easy to maneuver btw videos plus its so very explanatory but i would like to read the inbtw posts too😊

Radev relation in the beginning was very real but it was not developed/given much importance and the rest is history thats the reason most of my fav scenes are those where raDev are shown in their own world not coz there are some Radev scene but coz they are the scenes where Radev are shown thinking abt each other and not abt any XYZ most of the times.. but i would like to add one more thing that most of the Radev scenes by the end of the series do not hold same place in my heart and i liked first 5 VMs of Devs dreamworld very much as most of the scenes are from first few months of CB2..Anyways will watch everything later on but again its really great how you are compiling RaDev scenes from CB2 with great choices of songs.. great work and effort👏

Loved this one. Perfect choice of scenes for the lyrics and I liked it how you brought in dialogues and started the VM...it was as if Bholu is thinking abut his life and then the story starts... liked it for the scenes that you have chosen, Avinash's expressions in projecting silent pain and how you matched it with the lyrics of the song. That scene in Rawal is one of my favourite ones...they clearly showed how Dev realised that Radhika was chosen for Rohan...he realises it even before Shanti told him anything...as soon as she says that Chanda in not the bride realisatin dawns on him and Shanti's next sentences shatters his dreams...he does not tell anything but walks out in the daze and then at the end looks back longing for a look...

Thanks Misti. I was a little bit anxious about this one since there were two KKs here are your favorites (Kishore Kumar and Bholu). I found that scene of Bholu sitting desolately and thinking when I was trying to get a scene for Koi humdum na raha. I liked it a lot and couldn't use it there. So then when I started making this one, suddenly this one had a place for it. I am so happy that you got the interpretation I was trying to make here. Sometimes it is in your head and it doesn't get translated properly. That Rawal scene is one of my favorite too and he does realize that his dreams are getting shattered even before Shanti speaks up. Also in those months, even though Dev did not have enough monologues to satisfy me (after the fake marriage), still the emphasis was on this relationship between Dev and Radhika. So they did use to let camera linger on Dev much longer.

Later on Dev became such a side character that it was a rare occurrence where his emotions were highlighted. There was one scene I wanted to use because there too Dev had very great expressions. This is after Radhika disappeared...Dev asked Padma and others to leave him alone for some time and went to the garden where he sat brooding. Well, it was less few seconds when Padma was shown going there. Then she was in every frame (more than Dev) and it became her scene as that time, writers were forcing her as Yasoda maiya down viewers' throat. So will never be able to use that scene as I don't mind Rohan, Shanti or other Mansa family as a part of a story. But Padma/Dai acting as Dev's mother irritates the heck out of me.

Edit: Misti, I was finally able to use this scene for my next VM as was able to edit Padma and Barkha out of the scene.

Also I am glad to know that you have finally understood why you were asked to make VMs on sad songs...😃

Yeah, I have. 😆 But...many times I am forced to watch episodes which I had skipped at the time they were shown and where all I want to do is smack Dev. This time it was ok because I got to use scenes from RB track. So I was once again cheering for RB when he forcefully showed Dev some harsh truth. So my sympathy for Bholu in this track was very limited even though he was mostly right on issues.

Neerja, thanks for the beautiful compliment. I really doubt that they need to use any of my VMs for their portfolio, but it is nice of you to say that.

I am trying to take my favorite stuff from CB2 and making my own version of videos. That's where my theme videos are going. So I used a lot of good scenes between Dev and Radhika to make "Dev's Fields of Dreams" theme video. Bholu Istyle video would use all the good episodes. But remember I will be skipping most of episodes from Barkha track for these videos. So hopefully by the end of the video, I would be able to use everything good from CB2.

Christina, thanks. Misti suggested that song. Dev's happiness was maximum the day he realized that Rohan was always "normal" and that he finally had come come to terms with Dev and Radhika's relationship. So after thinking that he lost Radhika twice, he found that he could be with Radhika. I really like that truck scene between the two where he is proposing to Radhika in a unique way. So Myra's song was from that point of view where Radhika did save his soul by giving him the family that he always wanted but never got. So she was his oasis in this desert that was populated by his selfish, clingy family who suffocated him.

So Myra's song comes after Misti's song where his hopes again rose all due to efforts of Radhika because he had done his best at ruining both their lives. So if it wasn't for Radhika, he would have lost himself. As it is, he almost destroyed Radhika and in the process almost destroyed his soul too. So he was on a path of self-destruction from which Radhika pulled him away because she was so determined about their relationship and because she loved him so unconditionally.

Myra, thanks for liking it. I agree this is a very beautiful song and music is also very good. After listening to it, I went online and looked for all the information on it. So did find out that it was also a soundtrack for Stardust. I only make a VM when I can totally understand the lyrics in context of the story and characters. The lines "you have saved my soul" and other lines "I will comfort you..." or "I will be there for you" and "stars coming out ...for you" just made it a Dev's song for me once I heard it few times.

Yes, we all wanted a scene where he would give her an unqualified apology. It never happened as either all apologies were one liners or he put the blame on her for his mistakes. It was solely writers who failed here when they couldn't even understand the characters for whom they were writing. Viewers understood these two characters far better than any of later writers did. Again a wasted opportunity where Avinash's talents could have been utilized properly.

Yup, this is heavy duty. Usually I like to end anything with at least a sliver of hope. Here there is no hope and it should have been titled hopelessness.

In fact, I never felt any sympathy for Bholu in that bedroom scene because he was acting like a victim when he had wronged Radhika so much. In the end, he tells her photo regardless of whatever she has done, he loves her and would search for her. At that time, I wanted to smack him hard on his head for his obtuse and egoistic behavior. But when I made VM and muted the video volume, his expressions made me feel sympathy for him. So when I hear it without lines and just look at his expressions, I feel empathy for Dev's character that I didn't have in last several months for him.

So really appreciated Avinash's work in this scene as making these VMs is making me like his character once again. I did not like his character for several months as he never paid the way he should have done for his mistakes and his full realization was never shown.

Angie one thing is for sure , Avinash is best in intense scenes when he has to express his pain , anger , his inner turmoil through his eyes thats why all sad songs made beautiful VMs , he is good at saracasm , as i was posting april may 09 scenes that time he was many times saracastic to Radhika or his suppressed anger ...your VMs has all his expressions ...Angie you use that scenes when she comes as Rohan,s wife and asks Radhika not to go to his room ..there were few scenes that time which were quite good, when Radhika is going he stops her and she is lookig very pretty both are in tears ...It appeared as if she mutely asks him to stop her ...You know there is one song from Mughal E-Azam movie teri dunia se ja rahe hain ...and one scene when both are on run and Rohan traps Radhika , that time her loks are like a trapped deer , she runs to dev amd the scene where Dev is shot and she becomes lifeless and Rohan draggs her like a rag doll ...
