Phuljhari- Radhika
Bumbum/Parrot-Dev
Nirupa Roy/Watson-Mansaram
Dotty- Chanda
Chirkut-Rohan
Today the show is dedicated to Dr.Watson and a parrot..........well one is well trained and the other is looking for clue.......
So Nirupa Roy is searching everywhere with a magnifying glass for the young boy who danced tatha thaeye thaeye with Phuljhari....🤔.......oh I forgot Nirupa Roy is Watson and Phuljhari is Sherlock Holmes with her brains locked in a freezer.....😳.........he is scrutinizing everyone through the magnifying glass until he comes across this man with whom he has a very important conversation in mime..............well ....all important conversations are usually in mime.......😳.....and then Dr. Watson declares that Goldfish has disappeared for two days.....😲.........I mean the pandit has gone for a toss for two days and hence he is at a loss.......😳.....so he lands in that village leaders house and asks him..ok tell tell who danced tatha thayeea with my Phuljahri 12 years back,.......🤔........the village leader then shakes his head😳.....scratches his head..........😳.......furrows develop between his eyes.....😳.I mean by various facial contortions he is showing that he is thinking a lot.....😳......and here at Phuljahris house Dotty has got an itch to scratch..........and the itch is called Devalaciousitch .....🤪😆.she tells her mother that she has to scratch it now and the mother says I am there na.....🤪..all your itches will be scratched.......😆.....in fact I will help you scratch that itch myself.....🤪😳........we both can join our efforts and scratch the itch.......😉😆........then Dotty realizes that there is a wall in between her scratching her itch and the mother also realizes that if the wall is not removed then Dotty will not be able to scratch the itch and nor will she able to scratch the Devlacious itch so they march to the wallby the way this wall is not the Wall if Indian cricket team........😳..I mean Radhul Dravid but Phuljhari 😳 😳 who is having a very secret conversation with her friend the Kanha😳.....that she knows that Bumbumbhole is safe and soon she will get married to him......🤔........anyway the mother-daughter combination lands outside the door of the secret chamber and shriek and Phuljari runs out and then she is told that she will have to get married to this guy otherwise their lifelong ambition of scratching their itch will not come out to be true......🤪🤪......and then Mr. Watson enters the house and says .........yes that is true.....😲.Phuljhari has to get married to that guy so that the entire family can collectively heave a sigh of relief that my birth daughter and wife can scratch their itch.....🤪....and thinks to himself that if I had known about this I would have made provisions that it had happened before so that I would be left in peace😆.....😉..
At the Purohit asylum.............Bumbum who is soon going to become a hybrid of Devdas and Parrot is reclining in the chair in full Devdas mood...............and Chirkut walks in and tells Dude I have a problem.😲......I don't know what to do.......🥱🥱......and Bumbum the parrot jumps up to attention and thinks to himself...........this part I love.......🤔......that is showing the right path to Chirkut.........since I have reached Nirvana, he should also reach it.........after all we are one.........and then thinks I have been waiting for this all my life.........that is I should start an advertising business...........and I should start the advertisement from here ...........and Chirkut says ok I will prompt you....😳.. tell me her eyes........and the parrot starts his sales pitch......Chirkut listens to it and says wow Dude it's like Tagore's poetry........😆😆.....touche Chunnu Munnu.......😆😆........yaar leave Tagore alone.............next time aim for Wordsworth,.........🤔.......or Shelley.......🤔......How about Byron?...🤔..well but the thing is has Chirkut heard about them? Well I am sure that he has not read anything by Tagore....😳.....😆and then more questions and the parrot walks and takes a very sad pose...........and says some philosophical thoughts.....and then Chirkut asks to compare and the parrot says my sales pitch does not involve comparison.......for that other preparation is needed................and all this goes tangentially to Chirkut.............and then some more blah blah and the parrot walks off and comes to the room that contains the statue and becomes Bumbum.....😳.........whew!
Then amma is playing hide and seek with Bumbum who is by himself crying..............and amma tells him that she knows that she had brains long time back but the brains have got lost in the Kumbh Mela and that's why she wants him to tell her whether something is wrong.....🥱🥱......Bumbum looks at her ........ðŸ˜ðŸ˜....... amma continues saying........tell tell......tell no.......what is bothering you no..........I will solve it no.....😳.........amma go for an eye checkup if you cannot read that expression...😳.....and then Bumbum says i am missing mommy............and then asks does human beings always have to please others..............can't they please themselves...and amma starts on her sugar philosophy that there is a difference between animals and human beings.....😲.humans think of others but animals don't .......😡.......oyee amma😡......wrong teaching .......😡.......you don't know dogs do you? 😡Dogs only know how to please their masters and spread happiness, they don't expect anything in return......when they get affection and love they bounce around in joy and when they are hurt and abused they quietly go and sit in the corner and whine away.....ðŸ˜... so animals are not that bad .......
Comments....
Well its about the only scene that I liked today and I did not mention it in my commentary........Dev is front of the statue. Poignant scene and liked the inclusion of this scene.........liked the absence of over the top theatrics and that Avinash was left to do what he does quite well. Nice change of expression from sadness........to anger and then resigned acceptance and then covering the statue. Avinash was good throughout but this scene was the one that made me pay attention. I also liked his mute appeal to amma for giving him the permission to break loose and let his inherent natire come out.
Ok so Chunnu munnu full scale melodrama......and pushing all the audience buttons by making Bumbum cry..........lament about his lost love..........poetry and Dottys new found itch for him. Bumbum's inherent nature to fight for what is his is coming out..........he is just sitting there mutely asking for ammas permission......will he ever get that permission or will something happen that will make him forget to take any permission.
Well since Rabindranath Tagore was mentioned, there is a poem by him that comes close to Devs memory of Radhika........
She dwelt here by the pool
She dwelt here by the pool with its landing-stairs in ruins. Many
an evening she had watched the moon made dizzy by the shaking of
bamboo leaves, and on many a rainy day the smell of the wet earth
had come to her over the young shoots of rice.
Her pet name is known here among those date-palm groves and
in the courtyards where girls sit and talk while stitching their
winter quilts. The water in this pool keeps in its depth the memory
of her swimming limbs, and her wet feet had left their marks, day
after day, on the footpath leading to the village.
The women who come to-day with their vessels to the water have
all seen her smile over simple jests, and the old peasant, taking
his bullocks to their bath, used to stop at her door every day to
greet her.
Many a sailing-boat passes by this village; many a traveller
takes rest beneath that banyan tree; the ferry-boat crosses to
yonder ford carrying crowds to the market; but they never notice
this spot by the village road, near the pool with its ruined
landing-stairs,-where dwelt she whom I love.
