Question

I know i am going to get a lot of bashing for this but i am still going to say it,

When we had 11/26 all the Indian people and channels were mad and said enough is enough. Aaj Tak and other channels declared War on Terror, there were many, many posts here in which people said they were going to boycott shows that had Pakistani contestants or showed any ties with Pakistan.I remember many contestants, including Rahat Fathe Ali Khan Sahab were send back to Pakistan, many celebrities were mad and did not want to keep any ties with pakistanis, What happened to that? Was that just a spur of moment and now we invite them all back with open arms till another attack happens? Why does India want to have ties with Pakistan when they have clear proof of Terrorist attacks being by them. At what cost does Star Tv want to prostitute the safety and integrity of India for some TRP ratings? Is that even worth it?

I Love music and no there shouldnt be any borders for music but extreme measures call for extreme steps. I know Rahat Fathe Ali Khan is a legend and i dont intend to disrispect him in any way but when it comes to India then everything comes later first comes India. This is not about Hindu or Muslim. I was bothered by this question and just wanted to ask?

Your question I dont think you should be bashed for, its a fair one rather then coming here abusing ppl of either nation or either nation itself, I appreciate that you questioned your thoughts, kudos to you for that.

Now to answer you, I dont know where you reside, or that it shouldnt really matter where you do, but to give u an example, here in North America, or anywhere for that matter, even in Pakistan or India, the average/common man/woman do not hate the other, Pakistani's dont hate Indians and Indians dont hate Pakistani's, if I meet someone on street, I dont ask for their nationality, their caste, their religion, I meet them on their face value (not to say in looks, but rather their personality/attitude/friendliness, etc) and same prob goes to everyone. No one goes out randomly cussing out or hating someone randomly, why would you I or anyone hate a whole nation for a misconception. That's why I appreciated you questioning it. Always time is a great healer, + the 11/26 event no matter what the motive or what you hear in media or by politicians etc, from my personal understanding, it was magnified from different quarters for their personal gains. The opposition party in India might have architectured that to gain sympathy that current government isnt doing squat, or maybe it was a individual gang/cowards who did that. Definitely Pakistan was not behind it as a nation. There are always political motives, maybe a certain party/group from Pakistan got it done to have the current government overthrown there. That is the political spin of it, and thats how politics work. The media, this kinda stuff is bread and butter for them, they will beat the topic to death and again and sensationalize it to no end because thats how they make money, and thats all they are concerned about, that they have some news to sell no matter what, they dont really care about consequences, the more it gets uglier the better for them ($$$$). The common ppl they both suffer on both ends, from the event that transpires, and the others who feel the backlash/hatred from it. This event just got highlighted more, same events or worse happen on daily basis back and forth in both nations, but you will only hear about them if it sells good and makes lots of money or gets chairs/votes for politicians. Otherwise who cares. So yea, normally people from both nations dont hate each other, they have no reasons to, but for the politically motivated people to ignite them against each other for personal gains. That's my personal views, and my opinion to you, and I hope this helps you understand the situation at hand a bit better. And if you are wondering but why would the same channels bring back these people once they ousted them from here, well my friend money/positions/fame speaks volumes, Paisa sab ka baap hai, the channel will spit on you today if it makes them money, and they will lick it off of you tomorrow if that makes them money. when gujrat incident happened many muslims died ...many muslim were killed but did u all bycott your own country products and ppl for it ???? why not ???

I dont think you understood my question very well. You mean to say killing of hundreds of people was highlightened, exaggrated. Hundreds of innocent people, men on duty died that day. How can u say time is a healer and all those peoples affected by it are healed? My family is not healed, My cousins who were visiting from US do not ever want to come back to India, they are scared. Pakistan as a nation was not involved for 11/26 as Afghanistan as a nation was not involved for 9/11 but India provided enough proof to Pakistani government of the Terrorist camps responsible for 11/26 attacks were from Pakistan. Lets not even get into those arguments. My question was why cant we keep the sanctions against Pakistan like we said we would when the attacks happened. My questions was why Indian people forgets these things and tries to make ammends with them when they dont want to. I know people of Pakistan dont have anything against Indians but some apples spoil the whole bunch. So if Pakistan as a government cannot take control of these Terrorist camps then they should be boycotted from India.Its like all muslims are not Terrorists but all Terrorists are muslims. Please dont get me wrong i do not personally have anything against muslims or pakistanis but due to the history of India and Pakistan relations i think India should just leave them alone. If they want to have a chote ustad in Pakistan fine let them have them. When was the last time any pakistani channel invited contestants from India? We have lots of young talent back in home give them a chance.

I am not hateing anyone, i am just loveing India. Dont want it to get hurt again.

Like i said this was not about hindu or muslims anyways all muslims that died in gujrat were citizens of India and that was an attack on India, its not like only muslims died so why would we boycott our own country? Sorry you dont make sense.

Lets leave politics out of music shows. Lets appreciate music from both sides of the border and think of peace and other such nice things.

Dear one. I was based in Ahmedabad those days and had first hand experience of what went on any way. Yes the country boycotted the political party accused (by media) of sponsoring riots, the result was dismal performance of BJP in the following election, it made the former party an outcast and compelled by vote politics continues to be side lined. This is how system moves in India. Hope that helps.

exactly for every bomb in India ...the person blamed r Muslims of Pakistan ...do u know that 26th incident according to ur government was by hands of victims of Gujrat ...bec ur government kept mum about it ! and let 1000s suffer ???/Killing of innocent in any way is wrong .... u cant blame one person act on the whole nation but can blame the silence of one nation on the the whole nation ...
