Arrrey, nowadays even in India people are wearing such clothes which will put western clothes to shame! I haven't been there in many years, but from what I hear and watch on tv and look at friends' pictures..at least in bigger cities, people are seen dressed quite controversially, even for my taste while I live in the US.

Regardless, that doesn't change the fact that an Indian tv show meant for family viewing and showing an air force officer should be more conscious of this.

^^ Of course she's not playing the role of an AF officer in the village, but she IS an AF officer and usu a certain kind of people have a certain kind of taste in clothes they always wear. Not to say that she CAN'T wear such clothes, but in any case, tourist or not, it's only natural that one is expected to fit their style of dressing to the place theyre currently in. So it's not really about an air force officer as much as it is about a person in general. I'm surprised she's walking all over the village in these clothes and is not facing any objections.

because she wears western clothing shes bad.... look at other serials with women wearing saris that hardly cover them... they are pretty much wearing a bra that covers nothing but the nipples and on top of the bra is a see through piece of cloth.... yeah thats not over the top of tv at all---- plz

I agree with you...its not like these clothes are bad or we don't see this type of dressing on TV/Movie but she is an airforce officer and should show the grace and dignity in her dressing style too. Also these days she is in a village and tank tops do look kind of funny in that environment.
