like that its very much possible that Rudra does make a mistake/or whatever may the reason be.. it doesn't always mean to justify the main lead the other side character becomes a villain.. both can be good.. it would be circumstances that would result in the chain of events that will happen...

For an example.. Lavanya...I cried on the day she left the show.. did that make me love ArHi less or want Arnav with La? nope.. but honestly stories are so much more beautiful when they deal with these complex emotions that will make the show close to viewers' hearts.. black and white is not always needed.. little bits of grey makes it all the more beautiful...

If Vishal's character was really bad, Paro forgiving Rudra if he kills her hubby is the easy way to take.. but if Rudra really did do it, watching how paro eventually falls for him will be so much more interesting and the emotions behind that would be so complex..
Paro is not in love with her new hubby.. that much is certain.. its going to be an arranged marriage.. but from the looks of it, it was going to be a fairytale marriage life for her with her chosen husband.. but now its taken away from her.. how will she cope..
how will she react to the man who took away her dream? maybe through wrong news.. maybe someone misled him.. but if at the end of the day Vishal's character is left positive. Paro's journey towards forgiveness and then loving Rudra would be of an entirely different level...

Yeah could be like this as well
infact this way it would be awesome
u guys are really good at the prediction prediction game 😆

Very well said...Sunara you articulated what I was also thinking so well. It would be wonderful if writers/creatives can bring out this complex play of emotions, they have the actors who can pull it off.

The breakup and Lavanya's exit was one of my favorite tracks in IPK, among others. It was poignant and maturely handled.

thanks di :)

And truly one of the most beautiful tracks ever on IPK was La exit track.. i remember I didn't write a single Arnav-Khushi appreciation post that week. it was all about the heartwrenching beauty of that single track.. the sweetness.. the poignant lingering sadness... we felt her heart breaking... we felt his guilt...it was not b/w the 2 leads... yet... every viewer i think fell in love with it...
the maturity.. the depth of emotions...
.La's resignation... the quiet dignity with which she accepted the reality...how beautiful was it..

I know this is not the place to write this.. but all i want to say is. IPK at that time was not only about the leads.. it was about all these beautiful heart touching relationships.. such a magical weaving of emotions...
And I want that same beauty for RR... cz then you live with the characters... you don't simply remain a viewer... u live and breath with them...

I truly hope RR will have a magic of its own...
.

After reading that asjadnazir's replies on twitter, I am least bothered about this poll, to be honest ... this was pretty obviously doctored. All the sites worth their name, and some who are NOT worth their name, are onto the poll bandwagon to get hits for their sites ... the polls become meaningless after a while. Good to see Sanaya in the top 10 ... but like someone has mentioned, seeing her as the ONLY telly actress in the People's magazine list means more ... because that list was not doctored, but decided by a jury.

More actresses for Laila? This must be a pretty important character then, you're right. I think this must be the one Barkha was approached for, since she is not doing it, they are auditioning others ... or they were ... they must have finalised by now.

I'm getting very impatient now for the show to begin ... U, I need a good storyline more than anything else to grip me ... the inspiration being Othello is a good start, let's see what more they have in their kitty. I liked Omkara very much, it was a superb adaptation to the Indian context, with a TV show, they can actually stretch out the story and flesh out the characters even more, and make them really interesting.

I liked a reply by Neelu Kohli about acting in television ... In a television show we get to explore our acting talent through the shades of your character you are portraying but that is not the same in movies. In movies you are restricted to just one shade that you have to portray.
An interesting viewpoint, and one I haven't read before ... she is right, with the longer duration of a TV show, there is much more time to explore nuances in the characters, if done well. So let's see what Nautanki comes up with.

@bold I absolutely agree. There are polls galore...and what matters most in TV industry right now is to be part of a high TRP show. However, these things are feel-good for fans and actors and we did well, at least Sanaya is part of top 10.

That is a good quote, I remember Supriya Pathak said something similar too. This time Diya, seeing the wait for Sanaya to be available for the show, the prep time, the various audition tapes etc. I think they do have a storyline in place, at least they seem to have a fairly good idea what they want to show for the first few months, then of course other pressures will come and tweaking will happen but they might stick to the core of the story. Keeping fingers crossed that the team is able to execute the ideas they have on paper effectively on screen.

I liked Omkara too, and can't help noticing the harshness of the terrain in both, in the film it was plains of Western U.P. and here the desert.

Did you see the audition for Rudra's father's character? It gives a bit of a hint to Rudra's backstory 😉
