Apologies for my wishes, I too want more articles and I really hope the promo airs today but my comment was really just about my inability to keep up with the thread mainly because of other commitments and the time difference.
The significance of sindoor depends on whether they are Marwari's or Rajput's because the rajput's fill the parting with Sindoor. With Rudra being a BSF officer I would expect them to be Rajput because they are traditionally the martial race whereas I think Marwari's are more a business community, though I m not sure about that.

Later, in a ceremony called 'vamang-sthpana' the groom requests the bride to sit on his left side, because the heart is in the left side of the body. This signifies that the groom is accepting the bride and is establishing her in his heart. This is followed by sindurdaan ceremony wherein the groom fills the bride's centre hair parting with sindoor or vermillion. Sindoor is considered to be the most auspicious sign of a Hindu married woman.
It's all confusing though and I'm sure the cvs are enjoying our dilemma. Actually I wonder if the cv's ever imagined we might be dissecting every millisecond of a 30 second promo.😆
