Would you have liked if Sanaya played role of Sandhya in Diya aur Baati Hum?

My Answer:

Ofcourse and If we need Sanaya's show to top the trp charts then she will have to do these kind if tension filled glycerine daily soaps and I don't mind as I will get to see Sanaya daily !
And I like Diya aur Baati hum!

I have no idea what is that you are talking about as I don't watch any other Indian show. However, if it has a protagonist that cries me a river, then NO! I would not like Sanaya to do a role like that!

I love Chhan Chhan and I love a show that has a strong female protagonist.

But sadly, you may be right. Indian audiences are perhaps not ready for progressive shows that depict females as a person in their own right who would demand respect and insist on being treated with dignity.
