Thank you for the written update..
I am now eager to watch the episode.

The thing is , if mukut knows what is the problem of a UB-arranged marriage and finds a solution for himself, then why doesn't he support Manav for listening to his heart, not his mother? He acts a good boy in front of the family and cheats his family behind the back!

Actually people like Mukut are more dangerous for the society. He is an obedient son to his mother who doesn't have the courage to stand up for his own rights and in the process, they let others suffer. He is remaining good in his mother's eye and to the eye of so-called conservative society, on the other hand destroying so many lives, Kaumodi, his daughters, and Mayuri, too.

People like Mukut cannot change the society for better, but they certainly cause harms to the society by taking alternative routes for their own selfish needs, be it physical or psychological.

Finally something exciting happening!

Umaben wanted someone from the village so she can mold them to her liking but when her own son doesn't even want a wife like that then what's the point. How is she gonna keep the family together when her son probably wants another family altogether.

I definitely feel bad for kaumaudi but what mukut said was true also. All she ever does is cook or clean like a maid. She might be a perfect bahu and mother but is that enough for a life companion?

Umaben is so strict that no one could say anything. They just have to accept everything and not complain. This is what happens when parents force kids into arranged marriages. Mukut ended up meeting someone else even after being married for years and having two kids.

Now what? I wonder what CC is gonna do about it? Modernize Kaumaudi?

I agree with some of you with the rushing of the tracks these are one of the main reason why so many shows face downfall the PH take TRP way too damn seriously that they lose focus that Sonali didn't end properly. I think they should forget TRP for now and tell there story.

Fab post and fab episode! So Mukut here is the dark horse! Initially even I thought Manthan would have an affair but it always turns out to be someone who you least expect it to be.
UB is trying to avoid talking to CC as much as possible. When she called, she told CC that she only wanted to speak to Manav and when ChanMan returned home with the kids, she only questioned Manav about not turning up at the temple on time. I think shes trying to tell CC that she will never be accepted as the DIL of the house!
I really liked the hospital scene, everyones dialogues and expressions were bang on. I understand where Mukut is coming from, as hes been shown to be unhappy with his marriage from the very start. Though, I got angry at him as he showed no guilt about having a girlfriend despite being married with two kids. Poor Kaumudi!
Eagerly looking forward to see how ChanMan will solve this problem. Will they tell the family about this or will they find a solution alone?

This was a twist indeed. I would expect Manthan to have an extra marital affair and not Mukut. Mukut looks kind of old in front of his new girlfriend.

Wow, what an episode. Yeah, Mukut is the villain here but it must be hard to live with someone you don't connect with but then why not do something about it and by that I mean why not talk to your wife and sort out your life, not why not go out and find a friend who understands you and 'happens to be a girl'. I do empathize with Mukut but can't excuse his behaviour. Doc girl I'm going to reserve judgement on...I'll never call a woman a home wrecker when the man involved is more than happy to break his own home but there is something to be said for sisterhood and keeping away from another woman's man despite what ever hard knocks story he might feed you. Unless a decison we don't know about has been made and the cvs are wrapping up the story I don't think Kaumudi heard anything. Yup UB (and a lot of parents in the real world) have a lot to answer to when kids become pawns in the parents hands to do with what they will rather than what's right for the child. I'm expecting an emotionally charged angst and self loathing filled scene from Supriyaji when UB realizes the damage her stubborness to hold on to traditions has done to her family.

Thanks creatives for telling us who the other girl belonged to... don't know why but it was bothering me. I wish I'd had a kaki who gave me chocolates after I got a shot, mine just gave me the shot😊. I loved the car scene with ChanMan and the kids singing.

I think UB had a valid point when she said that the kids could have been taken to the doctor after the pooja but I guess she forgot that she didn't tell CC the mahurat time. Supriyaji is such a strong actor that Sanaya really needs more dialogues in scenes with her to show that CC is just as strong...I don't envision CC as the quiet hand wringing type that they showed for a few seconds today.
I don't really watch Sony during the day so don't know how much this episode was promoted because promoting this track would definitely have brought in more viewers.

Jaya, I agree that Mukut is the villain here, not only for having an EMA as the simple solution abut also for conveniently blaming his wife for all his woes. If he was so unhappy, why did he not put his foot down earlier? Why now, after two kids?
And I watched the episode again ... I don't think Kaumudi is as ganwar and unintelligent as he makes her out to be. Of the three bahus, she was the one who decided to send her kids with Chhanchhan to the doctor ... Umaben made that remark in the temple. She has supported Chhanchhan from the beginning and helped her out whenever she could, even going against Umaben's wishes if needed - CC cooked her first dinner in the family with Kaumudi's cyber help.

I think the problem for Kaumudi is more that Mukut is completely unsupportive, HE is the one who does not dare to go against his mom, and conveniently blames her. Chhanchhan could take the children to the doctor because Manav was with her completely on this, and also Kaumudi wanted to send her kids there. CC did not take the decision alone. Would Mukut have supported Kaumudi if she wanted to send the kids?
So hopefully the reformation should go along the lines of Kaumudi becoming more confident, maybe wanting to educate and better herself, rather than just Mukut realising his mistake and coming back quietly to Kaumudi. He should be made to realise that if he had supported Kaumudi, she might have been able to evolve into the kind of wife he wanted ... after all, she has evolved into the kind of bahu his mom wants ... she is an excellent housekeeper and manager, she is obviously intelligent enough ... and she is a wonderful person at heart. Social polish and manners are superficial things which can be acquired, but a good heart is inborn.
And of course Umaben has to realise her mistake ... in concentrating on a good bahu who would keep the family traditions intact, she forgot to ensure the most important thing - that her son gets a companion he can love and trust and be happy with.

As for the doc girl ... I will reserve judgement too ... many girls are trapped by married men with the same excuse - my wife doesn't understand me. Doesn't excuse them ... but it happens.

Good episode today .

Like almost all the scenes , one scene which sort of stayed in my mind was when manav and CC are in the hospital room , manav is the first one to feel something is amiss when he hears the "boyfriends" voice ...he naturally knows the voice better , infact CC asks him what is the matter ...CC only realises the issue when mukut actually turns back .
I noticed this on second watch ... it was a very fleeting moment. Maybe that's where this show is going wrong ... they put in all the little details very well, but they don't emphasize them like a daily soap ... it's more like real life where you can miss them if you're not watching. While in a normal soap, they would probably have had some five close up shots of his face with some daraavna music 😛

Everyone's acting ...sanaya , anuj and the actor who plays mukut was quiet good ...infact the dialogues written for mukut were excellent , he starts of giving excuses and then confesses without an iota of guilt ...comes across as a guy who is totally frustrated from his domestic life and wants an escape !
Would like to understand what is the injured ladies motive of having an affair with a married man , since the man has no qualms in admitting abt it !
Lol ... we never got Sonali's motives for agreeing to marry Manav ... I hope we do get some story about Mayuri! Mukut's reactions were very well written ... good acting by him and by Anuj-Sanaya.
I also liked the touch of CC starting off the questioning and Manav holding her back and taking over ... it was much more his job to question his older brother. Similarly I loved the way CC held him back when his temper seemed to be getting the better of him when replying to UB ... very true to life again, and I love the way this hubby-wife coordinate with each other!

I sincerely hope cv's run this track properly and not wrap it in a week's time ...this could be interesting as will lead to lots of upheavels in UB's household , maybe even make her introspect abt her behaviour ...
This should be an important track ... this was one of the original tracks of the show, its foundation was laid in the first few episodes itself when Umaben said Mukut had run away from home and she had brought him back. I really hope they take their time over it ... TRPs are so low that they shouldn't even matter any more! 😆 Just stick to the story-telling ...

I liked the UB and CC scene at the end and agree with jaya , CC needs to be given some strong dialogues to counter UB , though agree with the logic that the kids could have been taken to the temple first ...
I agree with the neem leaves, although that's more curative than preventive ... but not the temple visit ... on one hand, Umaben wants to isolate the kids, on the other hand she drags them to a temple ... for me, getting kids their shots comes way before any poojas to ward off evil spirits.
Anyway, I detest this idea of poojas to ward off illness and I think it should be nipped in the bud completely ... other traditional remedies have some basis and logic ... but wanting to do pujas at the expense of proven methods of prevention makes no sense to me.

From the precap , get the feeling someone is watching the couple ...lets see who it is , maybe another member of the borisagar family ...manthan maybe ...

I hope they flesh out the issues and talk about compatibility in marriages. Will be interesting to see how Mukut returns to the fold assuming Sony's 'Nayi Soch' has not evolved enough to actually let people separate when they have nothing in common with each other. Will CC open his eyes to Kaumudi's worth? Will Mayuri balk off knowing that Mukut's family is now aware of their relationship? Sometimes it is easier to pretend your lover is not married when the other family is not in the picture. Now here she has seen them in flesh and blood. Has heard Manav talk of the two girls Mukut has fathered with his wife. Am curious to see how Mayuri deals with this.

I too doubt that Sony's Nayi Soch will extend to separation and divorce ... especially as they have shown Kaumudi to be such an ideal bahu!

Also, I mentioned this above in another reply, I don't think Kaumudi is as ganwar and unintelligent as Mukut makes her out to be ... she has gotten NO support at all from her husband and all the support from her MIL, so she really has no choice.

Just a simple example - CC didn't take the kids to the doctor alone. Manav agreed, AND Kaumudi agreed - Kaumudi is the girls' mother after all. Umaben said as much in the temple - she told Kaumudi you are happy, you sent your kids for the treatment you wanted. Kaumudi knew Baa was against it, yet she sent the kids. The moment she got CC's and Manav's support, she reacted positively.
If Kaumudi had told Mukut she wanted her kids to get vaccinated but Baa was against it, would he have taken them? So Mukut bhai needs to see his own faults in being a husband before he starts pointing out the faults in his wife.

Yep, I think Manthan will have a different set of issues ... I thought initially he was also unhappy in his marriage, but he seems to be okay with Sanjana, except that she is nowhere near as sharp as he is. But his problems will probably have more to do with the business and being sidelined or a misfit there, or wanting to do something totally different and not being allowed.

Agree ... IF the show lasts ... there are quite a few stories in hand ... even the one about why Matilal and Ratilal separated in the first place ... my main grievance if it ends too soon, will be the loss of all those stories! 😕

I just hope she gets an opportunity to better herself so that she can fend for her family rather than obeying UB's every word. Manthan is very cunning and self centered, he may be more bright than his own mother as he can see through things very well.

@ bold ... exactly!! I love Kaumudi bhabhi too ... she is a sweetheart, never wishes ill for anyone and tries her best to do everything for everyone. And like I said above, I think her chief problem is that grouchy unsupportive husband of hers. Mukut stews and fumes in silence, he is quick to blame Kaumudi for his unhappy marriage - has he ever blamed his mom for forcing him into it? Or taken a look at himself to see if he could have helped or encouraged Kaumudi to change herself? Kaumudi obeys UB and Babuji because she has no choice in the matter ... Mukut will not support her if she goes against them.
