I may be in the minority, but I did notice a weakness in Umaben's character on the first episode itself!! It was during the mandir scene with Chhanchhan, of course!! It was a split second but it was there!! Like she has been holding something deep inside!! But hey, that's just me!! 😳

UB story is flawed.

She said she followd her MIL and learnt how to keep the family together. But, UBs husband and his brother had a falling out, so it didn't work. Purvi's wedding had nothing to do with her family so why did she interfere...it was for her standing in Society. She fired Purvi's father because he did not do what she wanted. He even lost his house that was being held as collateral. It is ok for her to interfere in others's lives but nobody can interfere with her dictatorship. She should move her family to a location where here is only one road. She hates CC and that's that.

There is more I can say...but I need to get to bed...

I agree with what you've said but somewhere along the line the grey shade did border on black as the original concept was somewhat lost in the manipulative games UB started to play using the bahus as tools against CC.Last night however the message was loud and clear that UB has no personal axe to grind against CC but is fearful that CC's thinking will destroy a family that she has worked to keep together regardless of whether or not they are happy.
