Nope, they're not eating together yet ... but CC did sit down to eat at the table today. The other bahus were fasting. Again, Manav has not paid any attention to that yet ... it's just the way things are done in his house, and he has never questioned it .

I'm sure it will come up ... the next project for CC? Right now, it's the clothes issue ... one at a time 😛

Scenes which stayed in my mind , when CC came down from the stairs and spoke to UB , for the first time in the show I found the dialogues very good , CC said what she had too without being preachy ...made her stand abt what she thinks of the clothes issue but still will wear the saree as a mark of respect . Also liked the way the brothers looked at their respective wives with disgust ...

The romantic scene was good ...anuj probably because of the adv etc does the close up shots well , also did you notice the background music when the chanman scene was on , was quite decent.

Then the cooking scene ... Really like the actor who is playing gomti ..her expressions are spot on , finally CC is beginning to realise all is a test ...

Their was a lot of sanaya today and as always she was really good ...while cooking with the apron on , she looked adorable and reminded me of her welcome show ...

I too liked Chhanchhan's dialogues ... not preachy, yet she made her point ... and I was glad she slipped in the part that Umaben had given her permission to switch clothes ... she had not decided to go ahead without permission ... that she didn't go ahead at all despite having permission, made her position unassailable!!! 😆 And the brothers were spot on with their expressions ... all that fuss you women made ... for nothing!!!

We complained about the music in the UB scenes and the romantic scenes ... the CV's DEFINITELY seem to be listening!!! 👏 I was glad there was no Lalalala there ... I just wish the cv's would get a good composer and come up with a unique ChanMan tune now that the jodi has found acceptance ... Anuj is good with his expressions!

Kaumudi is really sweet ... loved her confused expressions in front of the laptop ... hesitant, nervous to try it ... how does this thing work? She is a good actress ... now we can safely say the entire cast is good!

Sanaya was great all through ... I've stopped commenting on Sanaya because she is just Chhanchhan now ... one forgets she is acting. She is so completely natural!!! That apron bit was cute ... and practical ... wearing fancy new sarees as a new bride ... I love the strong practicality in CC's nature 😛

@bold ... agree! I guess that will happen gradually ... also none of the other bahus have ever voiced their discomfort at wearing sarees ... neither did Chhanchhan for that matter ... it was only UB's antics at the munh dikhayi which brought it out. So UB actually herself helped Chhanchhan get rid of the troublesome sarees! 😆

And once CC starts wearing suits, the others might be allowed to ... may happen later in the show though ... once you bend the rules for one person, it's difficult to enforce them for the rest. That's what UB is afraid of with Chhanchhan in the first place ... Chhanchhan has the courage to challenge her ideas. None of the others do.

It was really a bad day for UB.. She not only lost her game but also almost got caught with her evil plan. Her husband is not all dumb, fortunately.. Anyways, like always she managed with lies.. Hope Manav gets to know these lies..

And the second one was once again 'modern bahu' part. Once again CC is using technology to make her life easy.. She is really smart..

And I liked her strategy to accept the rules of the family .. although she might not have done it as a strategic move.. but its helping her. She knows how to win challenges..

@bold ... yes! She is not confrontational by nature ... unless it is something that is wrong. Even there, as a bahu in her new sasuraal in her very first week, she can't start challenging all the customs ... she does not even know all of them yet. This way she made her position clear ... she would prefer to wear suits, she is not comfortable in sarees, but she will get there ... she does not agree that clothes show your mentality ... but if the customs in the family are such, she will try to adapt as best she can. She does appreciate the thought. but she doesn't want rules bent for her ...

Which is exactly what RanSan's problem was in the first place ... so the rug pulled from under their feet as well as Umaben's ...

another great write up from u, thank u! have not seen the episode yet but seems like they've made ub totally black now. when they showed her with her grandchildren or maanav at the start she seemed more real and layered, i really hope they give her more depth as this plan of hers unfolds. i know she's supposed to be the brains in the house but still, would like shades to her 😊 guess the more obvious she becomes about her plans the more quickly cc will realise what she's really up to, but i kind of like that cc is managing to thwart her and gain the respect and admiration of other family members without even trying 😛
