I can think of one actor who is even more wooden than FK but then he doesn't have to perform opposite Sanaya or Supriyaji.

It's early days but the creatives really need to pull their socks up and come up with a product worthy of Sanaya Irani and Supriya Pathak. i'm very positive that once IPL is done and we get into the real story the show will attract a new audience base. As far I'm concerned they could show 20 minutes of our doll just sleeping and I'd be raving over that too because the girl brings a smile to my face just by being.

When it comes to romance, true we know it's not a love story but any scene which is shown in any show should be executed well. If a saas-bahu show shows romance then that element should be shown well and you can't excuse bad execution by saying that that's not the point of the show. Sanaya is doing her part to perfection so it's a shame that the background score and even the scripting is letting the scene down as well as other factors. When you have Sanaya Irani the Queen of romance on your set then why not take advantage of that and give some mindblowing romance - after all it would only help with trps and draw audiences.

The male lead is someone I was all out supporting in the beginning. I think he set himself up for a fall by claiming to be an experienced actor with stage and films to his credit. I was willing to give him time to adjust to TV schedules until it became apparant that it's not TV but his lack of acting ability that is the problem. True, I'm watching for Sanaya but quite frankly I expect anyone opposite Sanaya to pull their weight not to be learning how to act.

The ones bashing Sanaya's acting are mostly from outside - the kind of people who ahve too much time on their hands and feel the necessity to wpread their negativity about a show which a lot of them aren't evern watching.

The saas-bahu element shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone considering the working tilte was Modern Bahu. I hope that like this PH's previous show this show will be more a family drama than a typical saas-bahu show with a overpowering saas and a simpering bahu. Sanaya said this show is more about CC's life and to me that means it will be more than just a saas bahu confrontation - honestly though that confrontation is the part I'm really looking forward to. I'm glad it's not going to be an epic romance but with Sanaya Irani and Supriya Pathak there is no reason why with the right creativity this show can't be a classic in it's won genre.

Just because the main premise of the show is not romantic doesn't mean the director get to do a shoddy job of it. What kind of an excuse is that? The intital episodes HAVE to be good to draw audience and to make a loyal fan base.

The makers cannot get away with poor direction and tell audience that come back in a month the real story starts then. I'm really hoping the audience do watch once CC gets married.

I think most of us are aware that this is a saas bahu show but grievances against the romantic track are only because the lack of acting by the male lead. Any decent actor would have taken the romantic track to another level and maybe we wouldn't have seen these many bashing posts.

i don exactly care bout manav's character no offence its too clear that the story is completely on channchann < sanaya> so who cares bout the rest?

i am watching it only for sanaya.

it is her show, and i expect something...better... mainly from the PH...

Firstly cannot accept that the Male Lead is not an important aspect of the show.

In fact HIS CHARACTER is the vital link between the CC and Umaben equation. Without him there is no Umaben & CC connect.

Secondly there are three love tracks happening in the show.

Himanshu & Simple
Purvi & Hitesh
ChhanChhan & Manav
Manav's sister & Rigvid (CC's bro) (cut short)

Strange that ONLY Manav & CC track is being bashed... now that tells us something...cause the director, writer etc are all the same for the above tracks.

The Himanshu & SImple track is an adorable one, Purvi & Hitesh seems a sensible one and is played out beautifully by both the actors.

Here the hitch is the actor playing the Male LEAD (who is an all important) character in the show...but is simply not delivering...infact messing up the scenes...

So the PH needs to pull up their socks and ensure whatever is hindering the show needs to be sorted ASAP.
