This is a show depicting real people who will be shown to be multi faceted instead of one dimensional like most shows. I'm loving the fact that ChhanChhan is not 'perfect' in the sense that she doesn't know how to cook and can also throw a little hissy fit...not really 'perfect self sacrificing traditional bahu' stuff.
I'm not looking for this to be a romance based show though I hope the leads chemistry does create sparks but honestly even the sparks between ChhanChhan and Uma Ben Borisagar are enough to light up the screen. I hope this show will be able to find a balance between the modern and traditional without putting either side down and attract a more diverse viewership.
LOL...I agree completely with you...its a very real show with real characters...True this aint a passionate love story. Its a family drama with light-hearted moments of fun, laughter, joy, societal issues and how families ought to tackle them if faced with such situations...and I know for sure the PH are going to touch on many other topics...The chemistry will be an added bonus...
I only wish that the channel brings in English sub-titles to broaden their viewership to cities that are non-speaking in the country, the youth and the international viewers.
