If i compare the said movies to parasite,i would say parasite was okay

I think it also has to do with the marketing of the country through K-pop...if you notice in 2019, BTS was almost in all popular talk shows of USA and UK and their popularity increased...Also, the K-pop group Blackpink got popular in America/UK through the songs Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du and Kill This Love....in 2020 Parasite is nominated for many awards other than in international category and also managed to win many awards including Oscars for Best Picture, which never happened for a non-English movie....I guess the K-pop groups kind a put a face to Korea in North America/UK, which facilitated further the Korean entertainment industry to be recognized outside Korea.

BTS has a new album Map of the Soul 7... one of the song Black Swan was first performed on an American talk show and not even in Korea...BTS also performed at the Grammy 2020...first for Korea....so I guess Korean entertainment industry kind of infiltrated to America/UK.

I liked Jumanji (1995)...watched it with my cousins at home as a child.

I watched Jumanji welcome to the jungle...it was ok...not really my kind of movie...will not watch Jumanji 2.

The last two movies I saw are Knives Out and Little Women.

We usually watch horror,critically acclaimed movie together at each others house,and in theatre mostly go for comedy movies...

Yes, I like both movies...knives out it's a mystery film (detective trying to figure out who committed a murder among family members)...a bit slow and involves many characters so you have to pay attention.....Little Women is based on the novel Little Women....it's about sisters and how each try to make their own life in 1861-1868...I liked Little Women more.

BTS, initially I was like you....what's the big deal...not really my stuff...but they kind of grew on me the more I watched them perform on the various talk shows...I think more than the songs it's their dance routine and how they perform as a group that intrigue me...however i don't listen to their songs...only watch them perform...they will be on world tour...and apparently it's so hard to get tickets.

I think its cos of their stages,that i dont like them much..too much focus on dance...my expectation for a stage presence are high when it comes to kpop cos of 2nd gen mainly cos of Bigbang,the one involved in burning sun scandal

As an artist bigbang are superior,so bts kinda put me off...well the whole new generation lack stage presence as a whole

Oh!i read about chen,apart from him 2-3 idols announced marriage in similar way,marriage cos of pregnancy...blame it on fans and company for this situation that idols are not fully enjoying their life
