The fact is, who are all addicted to the novel will have their own imaginary characters based on Kalki writing and his exaggeration on their beauty.. so we are unable to accept anyone in that characters because we love the characters more than the actors...

The same.. Remember reading it for the first time when I was in 7th. Was blown away by it.. I have lost count on the number of times I have re read it!

I have not read this book. After reading abt how great that book is here, would love to read that. I know my mom was a avid reader of this novel,we had that collection in our house. I just gave away all those books 4 years before ( after my parents death )..

vikram has become old , I didn’t like his acting in kaadaram kondaan.

Lol let's see Mani sir films many get dropped without even notice and some gets made within a blink of an eye so u can never tell with mani sir.

Terribly sorry for your loss about your parents.

I found Kaadaram kondaan was decent wasn't anything amazing but wouldn't mind it a 1 time watch.

Do it try to read it Uma. And if u know to read tamil try it in tamil.

@bold: true.. There is an older character which would suit vikram more.. Just wish he could now seamlessly transition to these kind of roles.

I know tamil ma. Madurai dhaan sondha ooru .. but settled in Chennai from 6th std.

vikram puts in effort , no doubt. But something was missing in kaadaram kondaan .

I don’t know what to say .. so many deaths in colleges due to pressure. I like the system in UK and Ireland . They never reveal the marks of one student in front of others. They don’t tell when the exams will be for classes from LKG to 9th std because their aim is to assess how much is the understanding capability of a child. They don’t want the child to by heart for the exam. They categorize the students as Low,middle and high group. Low group will be coached in a different manner with the teachers giving more attention to them but the grouping will not be revealed to them. But in India , lot of pressure for the students .

I don't think it's because of pressure...need to investigate that professors whether they misbehaved with that student... Police should investigate this as murder but not suicide

There are no answers for the questions raised by her father..

1. How she got a rope and where is the rope now

2. She had a habit of writing from school days.. then where is her suicide note

3. Why her roommate changed her room

4. Who was her friend consoling her until 9.30 pm before the incident

5. Why the management is delaying to provide CCT footage

This is disgusting no words. Sucide is not the answer..this reminds me of anitha neet sucide case. Clearly nothing has been done to prevent it .

Agree to all these points. Also she refused to collect her papers and asked her friend to collect it , that should also be investigated.

But in the video I shared , that professor was saying so many things about IIT . She has said about students subjected to mental pressure . I felt that not just IIT but also the whole educational system in India is stressful .

I have always heard that caste is a big thing in getting selected for IIT , does anyone here knows whether that is true ?
