I love history and am particularly partial towards the Mughal period - so I am giving DEM-SA a chance - till it holds my interest- have been satisfied so far 😆 but KZK 2 even with Erica is not my cup of tea - so giving it a miss. But what ever the shows may turn out to be, wish both Shaheer and Erica mesmerise the audience with their amazing talent 😊

I completely agree with u Ginger. After ages there came a show worth watching..I don't think I can ever get over it. Not only Sharica but every thing else about the show was perfect.

Are they going to show that Anarkali was partially responsible for Salim to be sent away at a young age?

janmashtmi was celebrated in Agra and in the palace as you said jodha bai was a rajput and krishna bhakt too..and the movie had salim being send away coz he went astray but this salim looks meek and quite obedient so who knows anarkali may be the reason he is going to be send away...there has to be some reason why they introduced this friendship in the first place...by next week the elder version may take over i think...

Sonarika confirmed in her live chat that she will be onscreen next week.
I guess PH can take some liberty in name of creativity as long as they don't distort historical facts.
In my mind and I might be wrong, SA love story somewhere had lust involved maybe more than the love factor. That used to be my impression. But here they showed SA as developing friendship at a young age so now I have to change my perception.
If next week adult SA starts then they will not show much of Salim's training and possibly the initial mental turmoil of being sent away.

they have already distorted many facts...it is less of history and more of a new story now...for me salim anarkali was more of salim revolting against his father's wishes..salim wanted to rebel against his father's strict discipline and romancing a dancer was everything against royalty,discipline and mughal pride...

this childhood story is of salim and mehrunissa which they have twisted into salim anarkali ...so who knows as abhi pointed out they may actually show that anarkali is noorjehan and becomes mallika e hind as the director said she would

I saw a pinkvilla iv of Shaheer on his food habits - he was wearing that white kurta but he appeared so bored - as if he was forced to give answers - he had cold I could make out but his eyes looked so blank ( so unlike Shaheer) or maybe he would have loved it if he was asked to speak on his ex costar's food habits 😉 😆

😲 yeh bhi dekhna padega kya 😕 - it would have been better if I had been totally oblivious of Mughal history - keeping my fingers crossed

even i was quite shocked but he clearly said that this is anarkali's journey from a kaneez to mallka e hindustan ..so imagine the creative liberty 😆

I love historical movies though not the historical TV shows as they tend to distort facts too much for my liking. I was looking forward to watching DEM-SA for Shaheer's sake and also because the PH was known to have done a good job with their previous historical show. But the moment the PH said that it is going to be trp driven one & an infinite series, I have been having second thoughts about watching it. And to top it they are planning to take a lot of cinematic liberty in the Show. If they are planning to show Anarkali & Noor jahan as one & the same person, sorry I am not able to digest it. And to be frank, after reading the update of the storyline of the first two episodes, I have not even dared to switch on the TV to watch it.😆

Regarding KZK2, after waiting for almost 3 years to cast Eri in a show, I wish EK had offered Eri some subtle role in a different show altogether. This show seems to be a sheer waste of Eri's talent. I am not liking the direction at all. It looks too unnatural, forced & hurried & also the exaggerated manner in which most the actors have been made to portray the characters is just putting me off. The rose day scene of Parth surrounded by the girls was cringeworthy. What was that? 😲 Even Anurag who was impressive in the first episode is beginning to get on my nerves with the same expression on his face & the good boy image.The only saving grace is Eri who is looking beautiful & her expressions are spot on but I am not liking even the camerawork. They are trying so hard to make it a fast paced one that even the expressions are fleetingly shown. And though Eri is getting more used to the pace & is improving day by day, I don't know how long I will be able to watch it only for Eri's sake.

Me too no interest in historicals..specially now when they have clearly mentioned abt creative liberties n mallika-e-hind. Will try to watch Sha's scenes but till now didnt like SB at all onscreen or offscreen. Kids are definitely looking perfect n offcourse hyder ali is good. The vfx and music is big mismatch to historical era...also d acting in few scenes seems too dramatic for someone depicting real characters. Fiction mein u can do but not in this genre.

Instead of 2018, if Ek wud hav said its 20yrs old depiction, then some things wud have made sense. Am only watching Eri scenes...skipping creepy n OTT scenes. Maybe I am d only one here but am liking Prerna Anurag scenes. Its so simple and totally in contrast to the rest of the show. Lets see how long will I watch it. If they make Prerna slap that creepy guy, my interest wud increase 😆😆 But wud definitely like to see Eri n P in a modern love story. Ek had a great chance of making something memorable...she blew the chance.

Having said that both their shows are with top channel, big PH and so much promotions and limelight. Sha have seen great success but am so glad with all the attention Eri is getting. So will keep track of both shows n draw arrows from one show to another for Sharica
