anirudh has created a black and white concept...which is hard to digest...if only he believed in grey and flawed...he has atleast forewarned people ,so those who watch will have no expectations about historical accuracy ...but yes taking noor jehan's story and narrating it as anarkali's is a little too hard to accept...

And that is the reason I wanted Shaheer to do a contemporary show. I dont think I have ever seen a historical show on TV which showed the actual facts. A little bit of creative / cinematic liberty( within a reasonable limit) is completely acceptable but completely changing the storyline is not. It is ok for someone who watches it purely because they are a particular actor's fan and has no knowledge of history but to someone who loves history and prefers to see the historical facts, it may not appeal to them at all. After promoting the show as an exclusive Salim Anarkali love story, it is disappointing to suddenly change their tune and call it as a historical fiction.

i know...it is like a shock for people with historical knowledge and love for the same...i was alright even with the fiction part untill i read him saying this is her journey from kaneez to Empress..that is altogether hard to digest...and since there is no group or organization to raise questions and protests about it ,they are free to play around with mughal era and history ...

as simraj said...Akbar,salim,jodha,ruqaiyya they all were real people and not fictional...also he was one of the finest Emperor...so playing around with all of it..that is not creative liberty ...

Her journey from kaneez from Empress means they want to show anarkali and noorjahen as same person🤔

I know we can't expect 100% actual story but I hope they don't make it too much fictional .

I think Sony Tv gives liberty to its shows in terms of story creating because many are praising Prithvi Vallabh becoz it was more realistic ...I just feel Erica might return one day on Sony tv again ...in a good show...Only bad thing about Sony is they axe their show if story turns repetitive but in a way it is good thing too ..also I pray Shaheer come back in contemporary show even if its on Sony Tv ...I am disappointed with both colors and star now ..subtle and logical story line is never expected..its like naam bade darshan chote ..every show needs to make first impression good about its characters and story.. Krpkab and Edkv were such shows ...it attracted viewers with something new kind of watchable experience.

Eri wearing same saree as precap...do they really shoot on such short notice or Pooja posted it late.

Yesterday a naughty thought came in my mind .😉 by seeing Anupre scene in library ...can Anurag lift Prerna like Dev lifted Sonakshi so many times ..and not to mention those flying hugs by Devakshi ..can Anupre ever do it..Devakshi was indeed a fairytale 😳 so forget about that hip holding ...almost every show hero does it 😆

Your last para:- Exactly Sun & Smita!!! I was saying absolutely the same thing when I said if he wanted to make a historical fiction, then he should not have promoted it as a Salim Anarkali love story. It kind of feels like they have promised one thing & showing a completely different thing.

I am a huge reader of historical fiction/historical romance books especially of the Scottish & English ones from the medieval times as well as the regency period and while their fictional stories are based around the historical figures, so much care is taken by the authors to ensure to keep the real historical figures & events in their books as true as possible to the facts recorded. The entire fictional characters are usually beautifully interwoven with the real historical figures & events without distorting them. My husband is also huge historical fan of the Mughal Era so we usually do have lots of discussions about the same in the house. Hence when the PH said that it a story of Anarkali's journey from a kaneez to the Empress, it is really difficult for me to digest the same especially when we know that Anarkali had never become an Empress in her lifetime so for me whether you call it a historical fiction or a historical show, it means the one & same thing when story is connected in entirety to that of Salim, Jodha, Akbar, & other historical figures who were real people.

😆😆. That is Dev's loss. He hardly got to hold her in the presence of his family. It was only when they were alone, we got to see the beautiful Devakshi flying hugs. ❤️
